Sheep without Blemish
Psalm 100 verse 3
Know that The LORD is God.
It is He who made us and we are His,
we are His people,
the sheep of His pasture.

It’s incredible to know that we have a Shepherd, who cares enough for us, that He sent His only Son Jesus to be slain on the Cross as a Sheep without blemish for our sins.
Let us try to be sheep without blemish.
Shall we start afresh today?

Well the thing is – how do we become a Sheep without Blemish?
It seems most unlikely that we can ever be a Sheep without Blemish.
But – when we repent of our sins – surprise – surprise – Jesus forgives us and the Blemish of that or those sins that we repent of are washed away.
So that would be a Blemish gone.
– But Wait –
Are there more things we need to repent of so that we can be Blemish Free i.e. Do we have a sin of – Anger, Addiction, Vioence, Unholy thoughts, Gossip, Slander, Gluttony, Self Indulgence.
Well with all that to think about I may never be a Sheep without Blemish!
But there is hope – we must take one Day at a Time and rejoice that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and He loves us Just as We Are.
However, I am sure that He hopes because we belong as Sheep in His fold (His Kingdom) we will try with His help to get rid of ungodly things.

Accused of being a Christian
Accused of being a Christian?
If someone accused you of being aChristian
would there be enough evidence
to prove that you are one?

Don’t be offended by the above, think quietly a moment to understand what it means. i.e. is there enough evidence in our every day living to show that we belong to Gods Kingdom?
Do we speak and act lovingly towards others each day, not just when we feel like it!
What evidence can we show today?
Can we forgive?
Are we walking in truth and righteousness?

Well that certainly gives us something to think about dosn’t it?
Mostly as Christians we think that we do pretty good but when we actually sit quietly and think about it, what do we really see.
How do we think that others observe us? How do we observe them? i.e. our friends – our neighbours – our Church friends – our Congregations – our families – our work mates.
We are not to judge others that is our Father in Heaven’s job to do that but we can look and see – then we may see our own shortcomings.
Oh! Dear,,,,, what do we see. …. are we walking in righteousness and truth, have we forgiven whoever we need to have forgiven, are we using swere words, are we listening to The Holy Spirit?……..not to the unholy one.
Looks like we do have a fair bit to consider – then it is really nice if someone does accuse us of being a Christian, that would be a blessing indeed.
John Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus answered:
I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
—
So to be a Christian (if you are not one) all you have to do is ask Jesus to come into your life, repent of your sins and He will be with you forever, including The Holy Spirit also God (Jesus Father in Heaven).
Then let a Christian know that you too belong to The Kingdom of God.
And Look forward to being accused of being a Christian.!!!
It is a privilege to be a Christian.

Worship The LORD
Psalm 96 verse 9
Worship The LORD
in the splendour of His holiness;
tremble before Him,
all the earth.

How can we ever imagine the spendour of His holiness: He must be so beautiful surrounded by glory and angels, singing and serving Him in Heaven.
No wonder the whole earth shall tremble before Him.
And yet He has given to us His Son Jesus, who intercedes for those of us who have accepted Jesus as our Saviour.
So we need never tremble in fear of God our Heavenly Father, we can worship Him in the splendour of His HOLINESS.

There must be mirades of Angels around the Throne of God – Praising Him and Singing.
Just think there must be a marvellous Heavenly Choir and glourious colours that we can only dream about, some that we have never envisaged or could imagine.
The brightness of God’s Glory must be so great that we cannot comprehend it. Remember that the face of Moses even glowed as he came down the mountain after talking with God. So much so that he had to cover his face as the people were afraid of the Glory of God that shone forth from him.

Compassion
Isaiah: Chapter 30 verse 18
Yet The LORD longs to be gracious to you;
He rises to show you compassion.
For The LORD is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for Him!

Thank you LORD that you are a God of compassion – please continue to have compassion on me and my family, especially today. Thank you for all your blessings to me. Amen.

I really do thank The LORD that He is gracious to me, how about you?.
It is good to think of all the good things that God allows us to have and to do.
Remember ours is a God of Love not of hate or injustice. Do you know I believe He loves us each one as if we are the only one….that sounds a bit odd really but if you make something you treasure it and love it ….. so it makes sence that when God made us in our Mothers womb then we would be a treasure to Him and yes He would love us.
So we should try to be content just where we are – if you are not used to praying, you may like to give it a try – then like it says in The Bible…….Blessed are all who wait for Him!
Let us try to wait on God and let the unholy things
not have a hold on us.
We can make a fresh start each day – it is best to take just One Day at a Time and try to find something nice to do for our self or for someone else. We can be gracious – even a smile to to say ‘Hello’ to someone can really make their day just a bit nicer.

I like to think that this Scripture applies to all Mankind. We know that you are an awesome God. It is a Holy Fear that you want us to have, not that we should be frightened of you because you are the God of Love and in perfect love there is no fear. So if there is no deceit in our hearts then we may be praised and will be able to give to you all the Glory that you desire from us. So may my beauty be in knowing you today and forever more. Amen.

Well what do you think about Charm?…..Some people are really Charming…..not just women but men also…. and I think that God likes to look into the hearts of all of us.
When we are walking in the love of Jesus, then our hearts will be free of fear and people will see the peace and beauty on our face.
We can be praised for the beauty that is within our hearts. As Christians – people will want to know what we have that they have not got. That will be praise indeed for us that we can give God the Glory knowing that our beauty whether we be man or woman is within us. (That Jesus is in our Heart)
So the outward appearance of ourselves (even though we keep ourselves nice) is not the be all and end all of things.
Our beauty needs to be on the inside so that it can radiate to those that The Lord brings before us each day.

Nehemiah: Chapter 1 verse 10 -11
They are your servants and your people,
whom you redeemed by your great strength
and your mighty hand.
O Lord,
let your ear be attentive
to the prayer of this your servant
and to the prayer of your servants
who delight in revering your name…………………….

Please hear my prayer today Lord God, I am one of your servants who delights in revering your name.
And I know that the Name of Jesus your Son is the Name above all names on this earth where are living now.

Let us think about what it means to be a Servant….. really none of us want to think that we are a Servant.
Jesus came as our Saviour, He showed us that we need to be Servants, remember how He washed the Disciples feet? Not only are we to serve others but that we need to obey God our Father in Heaven, in that way we can say we are servants of God.
To be servants of God- is obeying His commands and revering Jesus as our Lord, then He will hear our Prayers.
It is no good praying anything if we do not believe that God is real. If we do believe – then we can delight in the fact that our prayers however humble or desperate will be heard.
But – now this is the But.….we need to wait for God to answer them in the way that He thinks fit….not us wanting them answered right that minute. Sometime we have to wait and wait and think that He may not have heard us. Well, then some of us go off and do our own thing not waiting for the better time when God may answer in a very different way than we could have imagined.
Let us Pray today and learn to wait for God our Heavenly Father to answer in His good timing.

Heart Free

I run the path of your commands,

have set my heart free.

LORD you have set my heart free, free to love The Lord Jesus and to serve Him. I love your commands, one which asks me to walk a blameless life. Please God our Heavenly Father help me to do this today with the guidance of your Holy spirit. Amen.

So is our heart free – free from anger, sadness, grief, sorrow. If not then I pray that we can give those things and wrong thoughts to The Lord then try to walk in His ways.
His ways are His Commands and the most precious one is that we should Walk in Love.
When we walk in the Love of The Lord Jesus we can try to put anger, sadness, grief sorrow behind us. There are times when we will be angry, sometimes sad, also grief stricken but if we sit with The Lord Jesus in our Prayer time these will gradually diminish. Then our Heart will gradually be set Free.
We can then walk more in contentment with our Heart Free of some of the things that come against us in our everyday lives.
We can be Free as the Eagle that soars above, free in the Spirit to soar into the Heavenly Realms as we sit at the feet of Jesus in our own personal Prayer time.

Tempted ?
Luke: Chapter 4 verse 1
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit,
returned from the Jordan
and was led
by The Spirit in the desert,………

Just think for a moment, have you ever been tempted by the devil? You may have been led into the desert, that could be a place where you have said – where are you God. A place where you have felt so alone.
Remember, Jesus was tempted in the desert but He did not give Himself over to the devils ways. Neither must we, these are the times that we learn more about God and when we come out of that desert experience how much stronger in The Lord we are.
Times of testing are of The Lord, to strengthen our character and to show that we put our trust in Him.
So – praise God, thank Him for your blessings. Then you will come out of the desert quicker than you ever thought possible.

I Pray that if you are being tempted today that you can say help Lord and come away from the temptation what-ever it may be.
We just cannot always do things on our own – we need Gods Help and He is always there if only we can put our trust in Him and ask for His Help.
I PRAY THAT GOD BLESSES US TODAY – AS YOU AND MYSELF TRY OUR BEST TO KEEP AWAY FROM TEMPTATION IN ALL IT’S FORMS.

Fear of The Lord
Proverbs: Chapter 1 verse 7
The fear of The LORD
is the beginning of knowledge
but
fools despise wisdom
and
instruction.

I think I shall ask The LORD for more knowledge and wisdom today, I do not want to be a fool, I pray that I do have the fear of The LORD and I certainly do not despise wisdom and knowledge.
For my part I know that I do love wisdom and knowledge, also I do know that I definitely need more! Thank you LORD God that you continue to fill me afresh each day, also with the knowledge and love of Jesus.

So let us just think where are we really going to get this knowledge and wisdom from……well I think it does help to read our Bible because it has been written for our learning. Therefore if we decide not to read, then we are limiting our brains to absorb knowledge and wisdom from the Apostles and followers of Jesus that are written about in the most Holy Book.
Lots of them were not clever people but with the account of their lives we can learn from their mistakes. (Hopefully we can!)
So where does the FEAR come from then?
You see we are not to be afraid of our God because He is the God of Love. Our only fear is to be that we really don’t acknowledge Him as we should and that we don’t always walk in the knowledge that He is our Heavenly Father and He Loves us even more than our earthly fathers love us.
We do fear being chastised by our earthly fathers and need to realize that our Heavenly Father does chastise us too.
So that FEAR OF THE LORD
is that we DO NOT need to be
FRIGHTENED OF THE LORD OUR GOD.

Be Healed
Psalm 30 verse 2
O LORD my God,
I called to you for help
and you healed me.

Yes LORD I can truly say that I did call to you for help and yes you did heal me of an incurable disease in my lungs – Bronchiectasis in 1984 in Perth, W. Australia. I give you all the praise and glory God that I can witness that you sent Jesus your Son to earth as our Saviour and Healer, thank you, thank you. So if you need help for healing, today is a good time to ask The LORD God if He will allow Jesus to heal you. I pray that when you ask you will receive in good measure what ever you are asking for. Amen.

I do pray today that God will Bless you whatever your needs are. It is good to know that Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to be with us in our hearts to comfort and guide us while we live on this earth. This applies to all of us who are Christians and have invited Jesus into our hearts. So with God The Father, Jesus The Son and The Holy Spirit – we need not despair when wrong things come against us. That includes things that go wrong in our bodies….. if you are not sure how to pray….remember that Jesus taught His Disciples when they asked Him how should they Pray, He taught them that Prayer that covers all our needs i.e. The Lords Prayer.
