To be content is something wonderful, we are to be content in all circumstances but most times we are definitely not!
What do you think is the reason why we are not content?
Could it be that we are not walking in godliness?
I think that may be a lot to do with it. Whatever is going on in your life today try to be content with what you have, try not to yearn for things that cannot be.
Let us praise The Lord for what we already have.

So today let us think what we have that we can be content about…..most of us have shelter, food, family and finance. We have lovely flowers and animals, we have produce in abundance here in Australia.
We can be proud of our Country – being content that we have freedom of speech – so we can say Jesus is Lord of all the Earth and of all that is in it.
Regarding Creation – we can be content about that because Jesus organized it, no it did not evolve. So we can be content in the knowledge that He made for instance an Oak Tree and that throughout time it has not evolved into something else: i.e. each reproduces its own kind from the seed that was put into it, even animals and human beings. Just as simple as that!!!!!!
Let us believe and be content to read about these things in our Bible and not doubt.
Let us be or try to be more Godly and walk in godliness with the contentment that we can only know by walking with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

is a means to financial gain.

This Scripture applies to those who love money, yes, we do need money and we have to work to earn it but we must not make it a god in our lives. Because God supplies all our needs, we cannot think that we can pray – please God send me a fortune in money. Best to read the above Scripture to get a really good meaning of this for our lives today, then get on with our Godly living in the knowledge that God supplies all our needs, financial or otherwise.

Let us Pray for God to bless us with finance – that is not problem – the problem arises when we ask for ungodly gains that we really do not need i.e. I believe that the Prosperity Gospel is not the true Gospel of Jesus.
The bible does say: ‘ask and you shall receive’ – yes we are to ask – but God does know our needs and he will supply our daily needs, not unlimited funds and more and more unholy wants.
He does supply us with our families, food, clothes and shelter. We can ask and receive Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Discernment and everyday Commonsense. I believe these are things that God likes us to ask for and receive. We can ask for healing or good health for our bodies and loved ones. We can ask that we can share The Love of The Lord Jesus with those that God allows us to see and care for each day.
Do you know that it is a privilege to be able to Pray – Jesus prayed and gave us “The Lord’s Prayer” – which really covers everything that we need to ask God for.

John: Chapter 1 verse 12

to become the sons of God,

that believe on His Name:

We must believe on and in the name of Jesus.
Then we can become Sons of God,
filled with all power and authority
of Jesus Christ our Lord.
With the knowledge that God is truly
Our Father in Heaven.

Isn’t it lovely to think that we have a Father in Heaven. Also to think that He is the one and only True Living God. Do you realize that Jesus is alive – He is not dead –
God has a Son – His name is Jesus –
So – God is a Father and He wants us to become His Sons (that means Daughters as well). Therefore when we receive Jesus we too become one of God’s Sons. He made us to be a family for Him but we have a choice – we are not puppets – He lets us choose to be part of His family – He does not automatically include us. If we want to live in the world without Jesus then we are free to do so. But how terrible – then we would not be going to Eternity when we leave this earth.
How wonderful Eternity must be filled with the Glory of God and all the Heavenly Host.
May God Our Heavenly Father Bless Us Today.
Remember to Ask Him to Bless You.
Like our earthly Fathers I am sure that God likes us to Ask.

Spiritual Blessings
Ephesians: Chapter 1 verse 3.
Praise be to the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in the heavenly realms
with every spiritual blessing
in Christ.

Can you ever imagine all the beautiful spiritual blessings that we have been given? Just sit and think for a moment on some of them – then, what about the earthly blessings that we have. God loves us so much He really wants us to have the best of His blessings.
I wonder what special blessing is in store for us today?

So what are the Spiritual Blessings
that we have?
Let us have a think…. First would be our Salvation that Jesus really did die on the Cross for us. We cannot really imagine how that could be but we can accept that He did it for us to become Sons of the Living God i.e. our Father in Heaven.
Spiritual Blessings can be Peace, Love, Joy, Contentment, Healing, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding and normal everyday Commonsense etc.,
Also Earthly Blessings…
What could they be….well we can have another think….we have families, friends, food and shelter, finance. But one really nice thing to think about is that we have all things that were made at the time of Creation….NOT Evolution. Look around at the beautiful things that our God has made, none of us can make even a birds feather, a flower, the wind, the waves, the seas, the fish and animals. Also he has made our Brothers and Sisters here and throughout this earth the we live on.
Let us Praise the God and Father of:
our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blameless Life ?

We may not be rich financially but how precious it is to live a blameless life.

How lovely it is to walk hand in hand or side by side with our loved ones and that our lips do not say dreadful things to them.
Let our lips not be perverse as the above Proverb say’s.
Let us be try to be blameless in all that we say and do.
It is difficult sometimes of course but if we take one day at a time – that is a good thing to do –
I pray that you have a lovely day today walking with your own loved ones in truth and fellowship with your family and friends.

As Christians we do really know that Jesus is our Healer,
so let us pray and receive our healing each new day.

Well what do you think – is it lawful or not – that was what Jesus was asking the people.
The thing is this – if one of your animals is sick or in some sort of trouble you can’t just leave it to die, you would immediately go to rescue it.
If you go to Church on a Sunday (Sabbath) surely it is good to pray for healing for those who are in need of any kind of help, whether it be sickness in their body, family or maybe struggling with finance.
Jesus say’s that as Christians we do have authority to heal on the Sabbath. We are in charge of the Sabbath not the Sabbath in charge of us. So with The Holy Spirit of Jesus in us we can be confident that – yes – it is lawful to heal on the Sabbath.
Whatever day you choose once a week to be your Sabbath for God, you do not just have to sit and do nothing and wait for the next working day to heal or help someone.
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO PRAISE THE LORD.
May He Bless us today with good Health and Happiness.

Leaders of our Nations
Psalm: 98 verse 2
The LORD has made His salvation known

to the Nations.

We need to pray for the Nations – that they remember the righteousness of The LORD. The Leaders of the Nations need our Prayers so they may govern in righteous.
Today is a good day to pray afresh for all Nations on Earth to come to the knowledge and love of God.

A Prayer for the Government.
I would like to thank you for our Government God.
Would you Bless them all today who are working in the Government of this Country please, so that they may Govern righteously and truthfully each day. May our Parliamentarians come to know Jesus as Lord of their lives so that eventually we could possibly have a truly Christian Government.
I pray for good health for our Government workers, especially for the Prime Minister, for your divine protection of him as he travels around the world promoting good relationships towards this Country.
Lord I pray for all people in authority, every government Dept., throughout the world for their thoughts and actions to be righteous especially now in this world today with all it’s problems. Please bless all Government workers and heads of State, Prime Ministers, Governor Generals and Ambassadors in every Country throughout world, keep them safe in your care.
Let them remember that people are precious and that they are working for us not just for themselves and their friends, that we need to be governed with propriety and in the love of The Lord Jesus.
Let us not judge them too harshly when they make mistakes making laws that we are not in agreement with. We know that you will judge them God when the time comes for some of the outrageous laws that have been passed that are not in agreement with your word in the Bible. May wrong laws be rescinded and the correct ones put in their place. Give the members of Parliament boldness to vote with a clear conscience on future debates and laws that will be right for governing our Country. Amen.

Work and Eat

2 Thessalonians: Chapter 3 verse 10
……”If a man will not work,
he shall not eat”

This makes us really think, do we truly work for God in all the ways He wants us to.
He supplies all our food, all our needs; we are not to be bludgers of our fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ nor of the world.
We are to use the gifts He has given us to work for the Kingdom, in everyday ways and in Spiritual ways.

So there we are – whether our work is humble or great, we need to get on and do it. Not wait for others to do for us what we should be doing to earn our daily bread.
If we help others – that is still working for God – He says in the Commandment’s – Love your neighbour as yourself. That really means I believe to be friendly towards them, not gush over them with pretend love.
Work for God can be done in many ways, not just for money.
It is surprising what gifts of love come to us in the form of food sometimes in exchange for our help.
God Blesses us day by day, especially as we work for The Kingdom of God.
This is part of my work to send forth the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the hope that you and whoever else reads these Blogs come to the knowledge and love of The One True God (that’s if you have not already done so) who is – Our Father in Heaven.
