It is lovely today to know the grace and peace that can only come from God and Jesus. If you have a spare minute right now, sit and receive that wonderful peace, remember – ask and you shall receive.

Have you ever just sat quietly on your own to try to receive that peace that comes from God our Heavely Father. It is worth a try – after all what can you loose when you find time to sit without the tele on or the radio on or any of the family around.
It can seem quite odd
if you have never sat quietly
on your own
but it is worth a try.
If you are indoors – sit in your favourite chair, if you are outside maybe in the garden find somewhere to sit on your own. Wherever you decide to be – look around where you are and begin to feel the peace in your heart even if it is only for a few minutes.
Try to sit a little longer, all the chores of the day will not run away, they will still be there for you to do. So treat yourself to a bit of quiet time to receive the Grace and Peace of The Lord.

Listen Today
Proverbs: Chapter 1 verse 8
Listen, my son,
to your father’s instruction
and do not forsake
your mother’s teaching.

How much more do we need to listen to Our Father in Heaven, who teaches us through the Word. Are you going to read or have you already read any of God’s Word in your Bible today?

Let us just think for a moment – it is good to listen to our father even though we may not always agree with what he says. It is special for us if we do have an earthly father even though he may not be who would like him to be.
Some fathers in this world are just incredible and others may even need our help – however they are family – we belong to them and they belong to us. When in trouble most times we can go to our father for help or just to talk to him and sometime pour out our troubles to him.
But what joy it is when we can share our special joy’s and achievements with our earthly father.
Regarding the Scripture above – we can listen to our fathers instuctions or his help, as the case may be and also remember our mother is someone who can teach us many things.
Well what has this to do with Our Father in Heaven then?
Do you know that we can talk and come to God our Heavenly Father in much the same way as we can to our earthly father and mother. The difference is that God Loves us even more than we can comprehend – He loves our earthly fathers and mothers and wants us to honour them by sometimes just to listen to what they have to say – even though many times we may not agree with what they think or say.
To LISTEN is a special thing to do even with our family and friends. Also it is surprising what we can learn if only we will keep quiet for a while and just LISTEN to whoever wants to talk to us.

Flawless ?
Psalm 12 verse 6
And the words of The Lord
are flawless,
like silver
refined in a furnace of clay,
purified seven times.

What about our words – could we say they are flawless, I think not, most of the time we are very careless with our words. Let us ask The Holy Spirit to speak through us and help us to curb our tongue, so that we may be more purified in our speaking.

Well that is a bit of a big problem about our words being flawless.
Flawless means: a mark, blemish, or other imperfection.
So how does that relate to our speech – maybe because we are careless in speaking unholy words i.e. swear words, words that wound the other person in some way when we are cross with them. Words that hurt and not words that heal a situation.
We really nearly always speak out without thinking of what we are saying, or what we need to be saying. Maybe because we speak out quickly wanting to get our point across instead of listening properly of what the other person is trying to say.
Let us pray that God our Heavenly Father will purify our words even today, not only that but our thoughts need to be flawless as well.
(Best I think to pray about that) ?????

In The Spirit
Ephesians: Chapter 6 Verse 18
And pray in the Spirit
on all occasions
with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind,
be alert and always
keep on praying for all the saints.

Pray in the Spirit, The Holy Spirit of Jesus, ask Him to help you pray and He will. God loves us to pray, it is our way of talking to Him. We need to know Jesus in our hearts before our prayers can be accomplished by Our Heavenly Father through The Holy Spirit. Yes we do need to pray for each other, all of us need help, none of us are clever enough to go through life on this earth without the Love of God and the prayers of the saints.

Well – it is good to know that God wants us to pray for each other.
When we pray it is best to ask that it is His will to be done in regard to the person or persons that we are praying for.
Just think of it – our soul prayers, things that we think would be best, are not always in accordance with God’s will and if we continue to pray against His will then that person does not receive the correct blessing that Our Father God in Heaven has for them.
So what should we do?
First of all I think it best not rush in (where Angels fear to tread) as the saying goes and wildly pray what we think is best for maybe our friend or loved one.
Wait and think about what Jesus would pray for in the circumstances in regard to the situation.
Remember our own mind can be fickle – thinking that we know best and not considering the outcome of what we are really praying for.
Also we need to pray for ourselves and thank God for all our Blessings day by day. Thank Him for our families, food and shelter, our health, our finance, our pets (if we have any). Also thank Him for Joy and Laughter.
Thank God our Father in Heaven for Jesus His Son and for The Holy Spirit who is with us always and will help us to pray (especially when we ask Him).

Whiter than Snow
Snowflakes are beautiful and are White as Snow.

Only you O God can cleanse me and make me whiter than snow, continue to take out of me anything that is unclean day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute to enable me to be fit for your Kingdom and to do your work please. Amen.

How can we become whiter than snow? Do you think it means that we should get rid of all the unholy things that maybe in us.
Like selfishness, anger, sloth (that is lazyness), greed, meanness, unholyness, addictions (there are lots of different addictions that can take hold of us) they are the really hard ones that we may need a lot of help to be removed from us.
So when we think about it – to be washed clean seems to be an ongoing thing for most of us.
To be clean means to get rid of all the unholy things in our everyday lives.
God Bless You Today wherever you are and whatever you are planning to do today.
I pray that you will feel washed and much cleaner when you repent and give your problems to Jesus Christ our Lord, who cleanses us from all our sins.
Know the Peace and Joy of God today.

Perseverance?
James: Chapter 1 verse 3-4
Because you know that
the testing of your faith
develops perseverance.
Perseverance must finish its work
so that you may be
mature and complete,
not lacking anything.

Reading this we can see that we need to persevere, whatever the task is before us we must press on, we must not give up. Whatever work we have to do today or whatever trouble or concerns are with us, we must persevere for Jesus sake, so that even today we can become that bit more mature in Christ.

So there we are…….what are we trying to do today that is an effort for us to do or to complete. We must not give in to those thoughts – that is all too hard.
If we are a Christian we can pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help us. He is our helper and comforter. But remember this although Jesus knows our needs, God our Heavenly Father will not do the work for us. He likes us to ask His help.
Yes, He does help us but not always in the way that we would like, because somethings we ask for that we would like to do are not possibly the best at that particular time of asking.
But we must persevere – when we persevere with whatever it is, we are becoming more mature.
Then just think……what a joy it is when we have overcome and completed the task that we thought was too hard for us.
Even simple tasks seem like a mountain sometimes but – if we take one step at a time we can overcome – that is perseverance I believe.
As Christians we are to persevere, especially if we are called to work in the Kingdom of God while we are on this earth.
Let us work with the Joy of The Lord Today. Amen.

Knowledge
Proverbs: Chapter 1 verse 7
The fear of The LORD is the beginning
of knowledge
but fools despise wisdom
and instruction.

I think I shall ask The LORD for more knowledge and wisdom today. I do not want to be a fool. I pray that I do have the fear of The LORD and I certainly do not despise wisdom and knowledge. For my part I know that I do love wisdom and knowledge.
I do know that I definitely need more!
Thank you LORD God that you continue to fill me afresh each day.
Also with the knowledge and love of Jesus.

Well then what are we waiting for, just think we are priviliged to be able to ask God our Heavenly Father for more knowledge and wisdom.
Then of course we are to use it to the best of the ability that God gives us.
A good thing to ask for as well is discernment……so that we can discern what we are about to do at any particular time in our livcs. Day by day we need help with the decisions that we are to make in our every day living. We live only by the grace of God. As we said last time our God is an Awesome God. Just to think He alone gives us the knowlege and wisdom that we need to live our everyday lives here on this earth.
What a privelidge it is to belong to the one true Living God who is our Heavenly Father.
I pray that you recieve ‘The Peace of The Lord” today in your heart, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Especially if you are a Christian living with The Holy Spirit dwelling in you where ever you are at the moment.

This is my picture of a Snowflake.
I would just like to say today that when we go to heaven, like it says above, that we shall see Him as He is….that is our God of course……..
Well imagine this – He can see us as we are today –
We are all individuals, all different as people, just as Snowflakes are differnt but are still Snowflakes.
God made everyone according to a pattern.
So we are made, according to a pattern.
We are made in the image of God.

So you see we did not evolve from monkey’s or ape’s or any other sort of creature. They are made from God’s pattern for them, so we are made Praise the Lord in His image just like God’s Son Jesus who did not evolve from any animal species.
This is all what I believe:
Creation is what our God made,
including us Human Beings
just as we are.

Do you Love Money?
1 Timothy: Chapter 6 verses 5 – 6
……, who have been robbed of the truth
and who think that godliness
is a means to financial gain.
But godliness with content is great gain.

This Scripture applies to those who love money, yes we do need money and we have to work to earn it but we must not make it a god in our lives. Because God supplies all our needs, we cannot think that we can pray – please God send me a fortune in money. Best to read the above Scripture to get a really good meaning of this for our lives today, then get on with our Godly living in the knowledge that God supplies all our needs, financial or otherwise.

We must remember that when we trust in God to supply all our needs – it can sometimes be like a Cornucopia which is filled with all good things.
God knows our needs even before we ask or pray about them – but remember He does like us to ask.
Sometime He does not allow some of our requests because being an all knowing God He knows that some things we ask for are not really good for us.
That includes saying – please God give me a million dollars or a bigger and better car, or house or anything else that you think we can ask for that may not really be good for us!
So what is best to do or pray for then?
Well, we can pray – Dear Lord God our Heavenly Father, please help me, you know what my needs are, I am not sure how best to pray, so please would you send the help I need today and in the days to come. I thank you that you do know me, please hear my prayer. Amen.
You see it can sometimes be just a simple prayer, just talk to God in a normal way.
If you don’t feel you can do that – another way is to pray ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ which includes everything that we need to ask for.
I Pray that God our Father in Heaven supplies all your special needs today and in the future. Amen

So today maybe we can really pray and thank our Heavenly Father, not just for all the blessings that he allows us to have but we can thank Him for Jesus Christ who is the Lord of our lives when we have invited him into our hearts.
Well, we can also give God the Glory because allows The Holy Spirit to be with us today and always while we live on this earth.
The Holy Spirit – is the Spirit of Jesus
and is our
helper and comforter.
I am grateful that we can talk to Jesus through His Holy Spirit who never sleeps and will be here for us day and night.
We can talk to Him and give him all our fears and worries and then feel the comfort of The Lord Jesus.
