Here is a Bible Verse for today:
Philippians: Chapter 3 verse 8
What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.
I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

To lose all things often means that we must give up those things that we love and things that we love to do that are not worthy of God. They then have no hold on us, so that we can truly gain Jesus Christ as Lord in our lives. Is there anything that you need to let go of today that is accounted as an abomination to the Kingdom. i.e. idols, love of money, hate, anger, wrong friendships etc., etc., Ask God in your prayer time and He will show you so that you can become more pure each day in your heart.
