The Secret Place
Psalm 139 verse 15
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
***
God made us specially in that secret place,
we must be very precious to Him.
today let us ask if there is anything special
that He would like us to do for Him
instead of asking for something for ourselves.
He must be so pleased when the creatures that He has made
show respect and love for Him and His Kingdom.

So what can we do that will be special today or maybe each day that will be pleasing to Our Father in Heaven. One thing we can do is to try to be kind to those who come before use each day. That would be a good thing to do.
Do you have a Special Place that you go to sometimes to Pray or talk to The Lord Jesus. Maybe a special chair to sit in to Pray or a Special Room. Or do you choose a Special Time each day to Pray. I think any of these things will be pleasing to God.
May God Bless us as we try our best to Pray to Him in that Secret Place.
Have a Lovely Day Today.
Choose to Love Others

St. Luke: 6 verse 32
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?
Even sinners love those who love them!
*****
That’s true isn’t it! But as Christians we are meant to love the unlovely, just as Jesus did – to help them, befriend them, most of all to show them the love of Jesus. Even in our own families there are relatives that we feel we cannot be with for long, we have to overcome that feeling and remember God made them and we are not only to tolerate them but to love them. It can be a bit of a problem that Scripture but remember we are to overcome and nothing is impossible with God. So we had better ask Him for His grace to help us. It’s amazing what happens when we ask His help.

*****
At this particular time where most of us have to stay indoors or isolated because of the Corona Virus the above reading is worth thinking about – because lots of families will be shut in together and will miss the freedom of going out to work or play.
It may be difficult to all get along together at close quarters for the 14 days that our Government wants us to do.
But it is the best thing that we can do to help our family and friends also our work mates or colleagues.
So let us do it with a good grace remembering that it is not as bad as what Jesus had to endure for us.
I Pray that you all keep well and happy at this present time and will be able to help where needed if someone less fortunate than yourself needs help for shopping etc., if they are incapacitated or isolated with no family to help them.
May GOD BLESS YOU and keep you and your love ones safe.

Our Soul is Special

Galatians: Chapter 5 v 16.
So I say, live by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
Dear God help us today not to gratify those desires of the flesh that are not right by you. We do need your help God, we cannot do any thing good by ourselves without You and Jesus, by the help of your Holy Spirit. Amen.

So where are we at today then? What desire of the flesh are we thinking of today to do that we should not do? Are we going to argue with our friends and neighbours, gorge ourselves with unhealthy food, try to steal from the Supermarkets, or take money that we are not entitled to. There seems to be a lot of unholy desires of the flesh including coveting our friends husband or wives, getting drunk and disorderly, taking people to court for no good reason to do so except to satisfy our own thinking that we are right and they are wrong.

Today let our desire be to please God our Heavenly Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
Maybe we can do something nice for someone (God would be pleased about that) what can we do then for them? One good thing do do is to pray for whoever comes to mind or whoever we meet during the daytime. No need to stand and pray so that they can see, it is best to pray privately in our own Prayer time with The Holy Spirit.
I Pray you have a lovely day * today *

John: Chapter 4 verse 22
Samaritans worship what you do not know;
we worship what we do know,
for salvation is from the Jews.
*
Jesus said the above and it is true, so we do need to pray for the Jew’s and thank God for His Grace that He receives us Gentiles into Salvation. Let us be thankful today for the incredible love of Our Father in Heaven.
So the above gives us food for thought – as most people think it not necessary to pray for the Jews. We must remember that a lot of them are not Christians, they do need our Prayers. Yes the Jew’s are God’s chosen people but many have rejected Jesus and that is very sad as they do not recognize Him as their Saviour and Lord of Lords.
We are very fortunate that God our Heavenly Father accepts us Gentiles into Salvation when we acknowledge Jesus Christ His Son to be Lord of our lives and invite Him into our Hearts. And what a Blessing that He allows His Holy Spirit to be with us – Praise The Lord.
So: Let us submit ourselves afresh today to Our Father in Heaven.
Let us walk in the Love of Jesus
and
in Fellowship with The Holy Spirit.
*
May God Bless us today.
Have a Lovely Day walking in the Love of The Lord.

Proverbs: 12 verse 28
In the way of righteousness there is life;
along that path is immortality.
*
Today is another day for us to walk in righteousness,
to walk in true life on our way to immortality,
to eternity.
Walk in righteousness with Jesus today,
tell Him you love Him and look forward
to the day when we walk in Heaven with Him.

Well what does it mean then to walk in righteousness?
I think it means that we should be careful what we say and do, especially in front of our little children and also in the presence of our grown up family and friends. Children mainly only know what they are taught, so we do need to try to teach them the right way to live. That surely would be walking in righteousness for us to show them how.
We all make mistakes and cannot be perfect all the time, however we can say sorry if we have said or done the wrong thing. Jesus forgives us when we repent and say with are sorry, then of course we can feel free of any guilt that we have said or done the wrong thing and hopefully remember not to do it again.
Yes Children need to be taught to do the right thing – also they need to be taught to say the word sorry to their friends and family, even as we need to do so.
I hope you have a lovely day trying to walk in Righteousness with The Lord, remember The Holy Spirit will help you if you ask Him – especially if you are struggling with any problems regarding your walk with Jesus.
* God Bless You Today *
