*Love is to Share *
1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 verse 1.
……. but if I have not love,
I am only a resounding gong
or a clanging cymbal.
***
Imagine being empty and sounding like a clanging cymbal,
we do need to be filled with love,
the kind of love that only Jesus can give us.
To receive His love so that we can give it out to others
we really must want the Love of God Our Heavenly Father
and of Jesus Christ His Son to be in our hearts.
By the Holy Spirit we then can share the Love of The Lord.

Just a short message today but –
* I hope you have a lovely Day Today *
Do you Sing?
Psalm: 101 verse 1
I will sing of Your love and Justice;
To You, O LORD, I will sing praise.
***
It is lovely to sing praises to The LORD our God and to Jesus.
Have you ever asked The Holy Spirit to help you sing?
He is so lovely, I believe He loves to hear us singing.
Even quietly in our own prayer time we can ask The Holy Spirit to be with our singing.
So today maybe put some music on that you like to listen to – with one of your favourite people singing and then hopefully sing along with them while working around the house. It is amazing what singing can do for you, especially if you feel a bit down about things. Also if you are feeling happy put some happy music on.
The other thing to do sometimes is to put some Christian Songs on and sing- along with them and enjoy your day.
The Link above you may like to look at. It is a book of daily readings that can be used year after year as it is not dated just for one year. The Lord has already blessed some people with the daily readings you never know what the Word of the Lord can be for you each day.
I Pray that you have a lovely Day today.

We are not Alone !

John: Chapter 16 verse 31
……… Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.
***
As Christians we know that God our Father is with us. When Jesus went back to Heaven He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us – to teach, comfort and also to fellowship with us. Where The Holy Spirit is, there also are The Father and The Son. Just think how blessed we are – we are never alone!
(You may like to check out what the Word says in your Bible of the Scripture above)
Well now – how about that? What do you think about being alone, do you think sometimes that you really are alone? Well even if we think that, sometimes we should remember that God our Heavenly Father can see us just where we are. If we are feeling lonely, sad, miserable and on our own, maybe we need to remember what the above verse says, whether we believe it or not as Christians The Holy Spirit of Jesus is always with us as He promised when He went back to Heaven.
So let us not be downcast or feel too lonely today, put on a happy face, dance and sing, talk to the dog (or cat) or whatever your pet maybe – if you have one. If not maybe put on some Christian music – the devil does not like that – because he has to flee away from you and from your loneliness… make a nice Cup of drink, have something to eat – to cheer you up.
A good idea is to phone a friend if you are really feeling very lonely, just to talk for a while makes a lot of difference to yourself and maybe also to the friend you are phoning. It is good to think of others in your circle of family and friends who maybe so pleased to hear your voice on the phone.
Hopefully your loneliness will just disappear, then you can Praise The Lord for His love toward you and begin to thank Him for all the Blessings He has given and will be giving you. (That goes for me as well) !
I hope you have a lovely day today – you may like to check out this Link for ‘Drink from the Cup’ book that the above Bible reading came from.
Do we have Patience Today?

This is a good illustration of having patience while waiting for the River to Flow.
*
Psalm 40 verse 1
I waited patiently for The LORD;
He turned to me and heard my cry.
*
I pray LORD that I may always wait for you and that you will hear my cry,
wherever I may be at any time here on this earth.
I pray that The LORD hears your cry today
for what ever your needs may be.
Also that you may have peace in your heart today. Amen.
Taken from the Book ‘Drink from the Cup’
Yes we do need to Pray.
Well we do need to have patience even to pray sometimes,
because time gets away from us and we think we will wait until a later time.
Then we find that the day has gone and we did not find that (later time) to pray.
If only we could start the day off with a prayer how much better our day may be.
It does take patience to let go of other things we would like to be doing
and to just sit and pray for a while.
Even five or ten minutes to start with if you are not used to sitting alone and having a quiet time instead of rushing about to get things done.
After all most things will not run away they will still be there waiting for us to do.
Unless of course there is something really urgent that needs to be done then we must get on and do it.
*

I like to think of this Painting that I painted as The Dove of Peace.
*
We do need peace in our hearts most times when we find the patience to sit and pray.
The Lord God gives us patience and peace when we are going through a difficult situation.
But the thing is we do need to ask Him.
Also He will comfort us when we do cry out to Him.
Jesus taught us to pray His special Prayer ‘The Lords Prayer’
Which is best to pray if you are not sure how to pray because that
covers all that we need.

*May God Bless you today with His Love*

Choose to Love Others

St. Luke: 6 verse 32
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?
Even sinners love those who love them!
*****
That’s true isn’t it! But as Christians we are meant to love the unlovely, just as Jesus did – to help them, befriend them, most of all to show them the love of Jesus. Even in our own families there are relatives that we feel we cannot be with for long, we have to overcome that feeling and remember God made them and we are not only to tolerate them but to love them. It can be a bit of a problem that Scripture but remember we are to overcome and nothing is impossible with God. So we had better ask Him for His grace to help us. It’s amazing what happens when we ask His help.

*****
At this particular time where most of us have to stay indoors or isolated because of the Corona Virus the above reading is worth thinking about – because lots of families will be shut in together and will miss the freedom of going out to work or play.
It may be difficult to all get along together at close quarters for the 14 days that our Government wants us to do.
But it is the best thing that we can do to help our family and friends also our work mates or colleagues.
So let us do it with a good grace remembering that it is not as bad as what Jesus had to endure for us.
I Pray that you all keep well and happy at this present time and will be able to help where needed if someone less fortunate than yourself needs help for shopping etc., if they are incapacitated or isolated with no family to help them.
May GOD BLESS YOU and keep you and your love ones safe.

A Special Way

John: Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus answered,
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No-one comes to The Father except through me.”
***
No other religion anywhere can go to God our Father in Heaven unless they accept Jesus Christ as Lord. We must invite Jesus into our hearts for our own spirit in us to be Born Again into the Kingdom of God. I praise The Lord that I have done that, what about yourself, remember today is a good day, if you have not already done so.

*****

As many of us know our God is the God of Love. So maybe today we can share the Love of God with all those who come before us. Just a smile will do or maybe say ‘hello’. There are many people who do not have anyone to talk to during the day so it is good if we can be pleasant towards them. If we can spare the time it is helpful to stand and listen to whoever we come in contact during each day.
Also the children need to eventually know the way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. Jesus say’s -let the little children to come to me. So as we talk to them let us give them a chance to talk to us. We cannot always say about Jesus but they will know that we care about them if we give them some of our time during the day.
If you are not sure about anything just think ‘What would Jesus do’?
