Room for God?
St. Georges Church. Carnarvon. W.A. Pen/Ink Drawing by:J.M.R.Larman.
Psalm 10 verse 4
In his pride the wicked does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is
no room for God.

Let us try to make a bit more room in our hearts today for God, our thoughts come from our hearts and out of our mouth the heart speaks. People will know if we have made room for God by the things we say, let our thoughts today be more holy.

Well this may make us think about the pride that we have in our hearts……Pride is a sin…..so let us look into our heart today to see if there is any pride in there. Pride does push God out somehow, especially when we think we are really clever to get things done our way, making us feel better than the next person.
Pride can take many forms and sometimes pushes people away from us, when they think they cannot compete with us.
Let us try to get rid of pride for a start from our heart and ask God to come in and help us with our everyday tasks.

*God Bless You today*
Have a lovely day with room in your heart for God our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ His Son, not forgetting The Holy Spirit who helps us when we ask for help in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in.

Thank you Jessie for your reflections. This one is especially hard to live by in our society I think because there are so many distractions. My prayer is that I hope to enter God’s space instead of thinking it’s upto me to let God into my space. I have no space of my own really as all I have is from our Creator God.
I love what God has created. For me here in my home; for my family. Even when we had lots of ladybirds – they didn’t feel like a plague at all. 🙂
