Should we Speak for Others?

Proverbs: 31 v 8
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute.”
***
We do need to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves,
especially the little children,
the babies,
the unborn that people want to abort.
Speak up for those who cannot speak,
pray for them,
don’t let the devil have them.
Pray for those in the world who are destitute,
that they may come to know Jesus today.
The above is taken from the book ‘Drink from the Cup’ here is the link if you would like to see the book. It is a daily devotional that can be used year after year.

So – what can we say to make things better for someone today….. well we could say ‘hello’ and ask how they are. Or we could speak to them on the phone, ask how they are and also maybe ask if they would like us to pray for anything special that they need. We can therefore speak up for them in regard to a prayer….. many people are not sure how to pray….. how to ask God our Heavenly Father for whatever they may be in need of.
Many, even some Christians are not sure if they can ask God for something for themselves.
They pray for others but feel they don’t like to ask for themselves.
However in the Bible it says ask and you will receive…..that of course is if you know Jesus as Lord of your life….. i.e. that you have invited Him into your heart.
We can speak out and ask for other peoples needs. Also remember we can ask someone else to pray for us.
In the world we need to speak up in our communities, our towns, our villages when we see a need that others cannot speak up about. That is another way we can look after each other, wherever we live.
* I hope you have a lovely day today with your family and friends *

What about Angels?
Hebrews: Chapter 1 verse 14
Are not all Angels ministering Spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
***
Let us thank God our Heavenly Father for allowing His Angels to care for us, that they minister to us in ways we cannot see but they are there serving and helping us whenever the need arises. Thank you God.

Hear is a Special Verse that I like – so I thought you may like to read it.
Are You a Ripple on a Pond. Are you a Ripple on a Pond? Do you see what I see? Can you pray for those who cannot pray? Will you pray for those who cannot see? Are you a Ripple on a Pond? Like a pebble thrown into the middle, our prayers can go out and around in a never ending and expanding circle. Are you a ripple on a pond?
Do you see beyond the horizon? Will your words or works reach out in that never ending circle of prayer? I pray I am a Ripple on a Pond. My prayers going forth throughout the world, for those lost souls to be gathered in and for everyone of them to be cleansed from sin.
Do try to be a Ripple, even starting with a trickle, of prayer and praise. Like a pebble creating waves on a Pond, may your Prayers go forward even beyond. So are you a Ripple on a Pond? With prayers, reach far beyond all that you see. Look and use your spiritual eyes for Jesus.
Do something for Him that really, really pleases.
I Pray you have a lovely Day today and that some of your Prayers may be answered today and in the future as you Pray through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
It is Good to Pray

Psalm 116 verse 1
I love The LORD, for He heard my voice;
He heard my cry for mercy.
***
What would my life be without you LORD, you are my life, you did hear my cry. I praise you LORD with all my heart and soul and all that is within me. Amen.
Taken from ‘Drink from the Cup’ Book. by. J.M.R. Larman.

It is good to start the day off with a prayer – because sometimes we seem to get so busy that we either forget or don’t get time to stop for a few minutes and think about things that we should pray for. What or who should we pray for then?

Well let us see – we need to pray for our own families so that our Heavenly Father would be kind enough to bless them. We can’t expect Him to do that unless we actually ask Him to. Also there are many things and people in this world that need help for healing, finance, the list goes on. So there is not a shortage of things to pray about.
One good thing to pray about is for the Town or City that we live in and the people who govern them. We cannot all be missionaries and to go to the underdeveloped countries to help – but in our own prayer time we can at least pray and ask God to Bless them.
My latest book is a Year book of small Daily readings from the Bible with a comment about the reading and can be useful especially for our own private time to read just a small piece from the Bible each day. Maybe while we have a sit down with a Cuppa ?
Here is the Link for the book….’Drink from the Cup’
God Bless You with the Love of The Lord Jesus and fellowship with The Holy Spirit today and always. Amen.
Do our Ears Listen?
Proverbs: Chapter 18 verse 15
The heart of the discerning
acquires knowledge;
the ears of the wise seek it out.
*
Dear God I pray today that we may have a more discerning heart,
a heart that yearns for knowledge of you God.
Let our ears listen to your voice
and may we be wiser today
than yesterday to seek your ways. Amen.
Taken from the Book ‘Drink from the Cup’
How about that then? We all do have EARS but do we actually use them as they should be used? I mean do we really listen when someone is talking to us or do their words go in one ear and straight out the other?
Ears are meant for us to LISTEN – if we listen properly we may even learn something that we had not known before, that means that hopefully we may be a bit wiser than we were yesterday.
As Christians we are supposed to LISTEN to God our Heavenly Father but how many times do we take time to sit and pray? Apart from talking to Him with all our wants and maybe complaints about the situation that we are in at the time do we then wait and hear what He would like to say to us? Well no we don’t – mostly when we do pray we then get up and have a cuppa and start with what ever we want to do for the day.
This is where we need a discerning HEART to listen to God during our Prayer Time. He is always there, He never sleeps and The Holy Spirit who is in us will help us with our Prayers.
Remember Jesus LOVES us and would like us to have more Knowledge, Wisdom and Discernment but the only way is to read the Holy Bible, even just a bit each day is sometimes enough to learn something else. Then it is good to share with our Christian friends any new thing that we understand that we did not know before.
With the Knowledge and Wisdom that we have learnt
we can then share some of it with Children or young people.
*
Have a Lovely Day.
May God our Heavenly Father Bless us
today as we gain more
Wisdom and Knowledge in our daily lives.
