Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD;
keep watch over the door of my lips.

Sometimes I think it is a good thing to ask The LORD to put a guard over my mouth to stop me saying something wrong and then wishing that I had not said it. As Christians we must be very careful what we say to others so that we do not offend them because in doing so we offend God if we do not speak righteously. Today please God guard my mouth, the door of my lips and my speaking. Amen.

Prayer really becomes effective when you do speak out to someone that you have done so.
It is good to have God our Heavenly Father and Jesus His Son with us, also The Holy Spirit knowing that we are never alone. That our sins are forgiven and we can look forward to our heavenly home when our time on this planet earth comes to an end.
Walk in the Light!

more majestic than mountains rich with game.

How can we comprehend our majesty, Your holy light, Your Heavenly Throne?
Heavenly Father God, none can come near Your resplendent light.
Your are almighty God.
Today we honour You for all Your love and care for us.

Let us be glad of the healings that Jesus has given us for our body, soul and our mind.
Let us Rejoice that Jesus heals the same now as when he walked on this earth
all those years ago.
Also to remember that Jesus is The Light of The World.

Have you ever thought that you cannot do whatever it is you are thinking you would like to do? Then when you sit and Pray about it the solution comes and you are able do it. We forget then to thank The Lord that He does enable us and we carry on regardless, thinking that we can do it.
I think one of the lovely things to ask help for is for the Craft Work that we like to do, or the Computer work, we are not all gifted to be able to do everything that our friends can do. We are all made differently and have different gifts that The Lord has given us. From all the work that we do, it is good to ask for His help and give Him the Glory that He enables us to work and play.
Just think what gifts He has given you to use to help others in regard to the work that you do. I can thank Our Father in Heaven for allowing me to use the Computer, to do the Paintings and to write my books. I hope my work is helpful for someone now and in the future. I praise God that with the help of The Holy Spirit I am able to let God use my works to Bless others.

What is Faithfulness ?

2 Timothy: 2 v 13
If we are faithless,
He will remain faithful,
for He cannot disown Himself.

When we belong to Jesus and our faith seems to desert us, remember that He is still faithful to us, He is always there. Even today right this minute Jesus is faithful to us, let us pray and ask that our faith be refreshed and renewed today. Amen.

What do you think it means to have faith or to be Faithfull ? One thing I think it means is to be Faithfull to our family and friends. That is to say and mean what we say to them and do what we think is best for our Brothers and Sisters, Husband’s and Wife’s also our Children and extended family. To be Faithfull is to love them with the Love of Jesus, ask Him to bless them and in Faith ask Jesus to keep them safe.
We need to be Faithfull in having a Prayer time, to sit with God our Heavenly Father each day. In that way Faithfulness’ means to be consistent, to set aside that special time, so that in Faith we can pray righteous prayers as we come to God through our Saviour Jesus Christ and know that our prayers will be heard.
Let us try to be Faithfull, going to go to Church to share with the Congregation in the Singing and Praise, the Bible readings etc., try to stay afterwards for Morning Tea and talk and share some conversation with the Church family. For some it maybe the only time of the week they get to talk to someone about what The Lord is doing in their life.
So let us be Faithfull in the little things that we do each day and Praise The Lord that we are able to do our chores each day with Faithfulness’ and Joy.

Lilies are Beautiful !
The above is a Pencil Drawing that I did of Lilies which are named – ‘Grace of God‘
Matthew 6: 28 – 33 King James Version (KIV)
Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow;
they toil not, neither do they spin
and yet I say unto you,
that even Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these.
It is good to read more of this in the Bible because it can help us to stop worrying sometimes of what we should eat and what we should wear. Our Heavenly Father knows our needs and does supply us with them each day.
Including all the Birds of the air and all living creatures he feeds daily.

The Holy Spirit is Real !

Do you know – that to have The Holy Spirit with us we first need to invite Jesus into our life. Once we do that we automatically have The Spirit of Jesus in our heart because Jesus said that once He Himself left this earth He would send His Holy Spirit to be with us, to comfort, to guide us, to help us to pray. So there we are then. We can pray to God our Heavenly Father knowing that He will hear our prayers because we belong to Jesus Christ His Son.
Do you know – that we are never alone when we have The Holy Spirit with us, that we can talk though Him day and night to Jesus and to God our Heavenly Father. What a Blessing.
Do you know – that you can invite Jesus into your life right now if you have not already done so! Then you can be a Blessing to others maybe to pray for your family and friends knowing that God will hear your prayers.

Our Souls are Precious!
Psalm 62 verse 1
My Soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.

When I sit and pray, do you know, my soul does find rest in God. I pray that you find rest in God today. We do know that our salvation comes from Him. God does love our souls to be at rest in Him, whether we are at work, play or in prayer. So today let us be at rest in God as we get on with our daily tasks etc.,

Have you ever asked The Lord to examine your heart and mind. It makes you wonder when He examines us what will He find? I think it best to try to have a look into our own hearts before we ever ask The Lord to take a look. Our minds are sometimes a minefield, full of things that they should not be full of. We best get rid of some of the awful things that seem to come into our hearts and minds before we ask God to examine them. Maybe best to start straight away! Let me see – have I let go of worry, anger? Oh dear seems a lot of rubbish in there that should not be there, how about you?

Let us Rejoice today and think of something nice to do for ourselves or for some-one else. Maybe get in touch with them on the phone, or invite them to come to us for a visit, just to have a Cuppa maybe nice for them to know that you care about them. Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea, Evening Meal or the phone call maybe just what someone needs from us today. I am sure God our Heavenly Father will Bless our efforts when we try to reach out to others.
You may like to see this ‘Book of Prayers’ it it one that help’s people to pray for different things. (It is a help you to pray book) Especially for new Christians and also for some of us older ones when we would like to pray to our Heavenly Father for different situations. We do know that Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to be with us and that He will help us to pray when we are not sure or too upset to find the right words to pray for whatever situation we may be in at the time.
