What about Praise?
Psalm 56 verse 12.
I am under vows to you, O God,
I will present my thank-offerings to you.
*****
I want to offer you something today LORD but I am not sure what to give. Being under vows to you God I present myself. One thing I can give – as a thank-offering is my praise. Yes I praise you today and thank you LORD for all your blessings to me. Amen.

Have you ever thought about Praise…… I know it is good to Praise The Lord for all His blessings towards us. But really it is good to Praise our family, our loved ones. Sometimes it is just to say thank you for something someone has done for us. Maybe thank you can be a form of Praise. What do you think?
Remember, if you have or have had a pet, maybe a Dog or Cat how lovely to Praise them for being with you. When a Dog retrieves something that you throw for it, how much then do you Praise them for bringing it back to you.
Some people Praise their Cat and stoke it saying how beautiful it is…I am sure that is Praise as well.
Do we Praise our Children when they have done something nice for us, or when they have behaved well. That shows them that we do care about them.
So, it is good to Praise The LORD for all His goodness and love towards us each day. If you are not sure how to Praise Him it is nice to Pray and just thank Him or better still Sing something that will be a blessing to Him. Jesus I am sure loves us to Sing, also we can ask The Holy Spirit to help us to Sing and Praise The Lord God, our Father in Heaven.
I hope you have a lovely Day Today Praising The LORD.

Have a lovely Day.
Perseverance!
A lovely photo of Morning Glory….. looking like trumpets in the photo. Have you ever felt the Petals they are so thin and soft to feel – just beautiful.
*****
James 1 verses 2-3.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers,
whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith
develops perseverance.
*****
We don’t usually face trials with joy do we? If only we could use our faith more in the difficult circumstances, persevere in faith and let God be in charge instead of ourselves, we would find life much easier. Maybe you are in a difficult situation today, remember the disciples – we must have faith even as small as a mustard seed. Let us not give up in the testing of our faith, don’t let the devil have the upper hand especially today.

If you are not a Christian and would like to be one, you could pray this prayer printed below.
Know that Jesus loves you and He would like to be part of your life if you would let Him. It is lovely to live with God our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ His Son and with the lovely Holy Spirit. Then you would never be alone because they would be always with you. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, teacher and guide, we can talk to him day or night, when Jesus went back to Heaven He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us when we invite Himself Jesus into our hearts. If you already are a Christian you know this is true and I can say God Bless you today.

Have you ever thought what the word compassion means? I looked it up and it says: to be sympathetic towards others when they are suffering from anything. Then to help them if you can.
In other words I believe it means to show Christian love towards that person whoever it is who maybe sad or lonely. Just a smile or a kind word may be all they need at the time. That really is showing compassion towards them. You may not need to do anything else at the time but what a blessing it can be to show someone that you care about how they are feeling.
Also we can pray for others – that God will bless them.
This next book is helpful and has prayers for different situations that you can use. You may like to look at the link which will tell you more about it. Also it is available from the Amazon site.
I pray that you have a good day today and that our Heavenly Father will have compassion on you, your family and love ones, also for me and mine.
God Bless you.

St. John: Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus answered, ” I am the way and the truth and the life.
No-one comes to the Father except through me“
—-
No other religion anywhere can go to God our Father in Heaven unless they accept Jesus Christ as Lord. We must invite Jesus into our hearts for our own spirit in us to be Born Again into the Kingdom of God. I praise The Lord that I have done that, what about yourself, remember today is a good day, if you have not already done so.

Let us Rejoice today and think of something nice to do for ourselves or for some-one else. Maybe get in touch with them on the phone, or invite them to come to us for a visit, just to have a Cuppa maybe nice for them to know that you care about them. Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea, Evening Meal or the phone call maybe just what someone needs from us today. I am sure God our Heavenly Father will Bless our efforts when we try to reach out to others.

You may like to see this ‘Book of Prayers’ it it one that help’s people to pray for different things. (It is a help you to pray book) Especially for new Christians and also for some of us older ones when we would like to pray to our Heavenly Father for different situations. We do know that Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to be with us and that He will help us to pray when we are not sure or too upset to find the right words to pray for whatever situation we may be in at the time.
May God Bless you during your Prayer time Today.
This comes with Love & Blessings.
It is nice to be Righteous !
Psalm: 58 verse 11
Then men will say,
‘Surely the righteous will are rewarded,
surely there is a God who judges the earth’
***
Because God says that we shall be rewarded, then we know that He will reward us for sure. However, we do need to be righteous, we cannot expect rewards for nothing. God blesses us with all good things. How He will surely reward us when we become even more righteous. I think we ought to make a special effort today to live a good life because God is our judge, who gives according to His will.

Isaiah 61:3 … Talks out the trees of righteousness the Planting of The Lord. You may like to read about that sometime.
So how are we going today to be righteous then……. we should try to be free from guilt or sin. We all know that is not easy when we have so many things during each day to deal with. Sometimes we get frustrated and cross, the Bible says in your anger do not sin….
Best think of something nice that we can do today for The Lord of for someone in our family or for maybe for a friend.
One of the nicest things we can do is to pray….. it is good to pray for our family and friends but what about our Town or place that we live in. Surely that would be a righteous thing to do as we go about our daily life. Also to pray for those less fortunate than ourselves, there are so many things to pray about.

I hope you have a lovely righteous day today.

Ripple on a Pond.
The above is one of my Oil Paintings…..yes it has a pond on it so thought it would good on here.
Job: Chapter 1 – verse 21.
“Naked I came from my mothers’ womb and naked I shall depart.
The Lord gave and The LORD has taken away:
may the name of The LORD be praised”
***
The above was said by Job and it is true, naked we came into this world and naked we shall leave it. So while we are here let us bless those around us as best we can especially our family. Let us see them enjoy some of the assets we would eventually leave them when we die by giving now while we are alive. Let us share in their enjoyment. Maybe it could be just a special little heirloom we are saving for them, or, maybe finance we are saving for them. If they are in need as some young families are, let us be gracious and try to help. Today let us remember – we cannot take anything with us when we go, that also includes our love. let them know you love them. Our families do need our love more than maybe they or we realize. The LORD surely blesses us as we bless others.
Today let us think on our nakedness before The LORD.

Here is the Poem that I wrote about being a Ripple on a Pond…
Are You a Ripple on a Pond. ?
Are you a Ripple on a Pond?
Do you see what I see? Can you pray for those who cannot pray?
Will you pray for those who cannot see? Are you a Ripple on a Pond.?
Like a pebble thrown into the middle, our prayers can go out and around
in a never ending and expanding circle. Are you a ripple on a pond?
Do you see beyond the horizon? Will your words or works reach out
in that never ending circle of prayer? I pray I am a Ripple on a Pond.
My prayers going forth throughout the world, for those lost souls to be gathered in
and for everyone of them to be cleansed from sin.
Do try to be a Ripple, even starting with a trickle, of prayer and praise.
Like a pebble creating waves on a Pond, may your Prayers go forward even beyond.
So are you a Ripple on a Pond?
With prayers, reach far beyond all that you see. Look and use your spiritual eyes for Jesus.
Do something for Him that really, really pleases.

I pray you have a lovely Day Today.
Do we have Patience Today?
This is a good illustration of having patience while waiting for the River to Flow.
*
Psalm 40 verse 1
I waited patiently for The LORD;
He turned to me and heard my cry.
*
I pray LORD that I may always wait for you and that you will hear my cry,
wherever I may be at any time here on this earth.
I pray that The LORD hears your cry today
for what ever your needs may be.
Also that you may have peace in your heart today. Amen.
Taken from the Book ‘Drink from the Cup’
Yes we do need to Pray.
Well we do need to have patience even to pray sometimes,
because time gets away from us and we think we will wait until a later time.
Then we find that the day has gone and we did not find that (later time) to pray.
If only we could start the day off with a prayer how much better our day may be.
It does take patience to let go of other things we would like to be doing
and to just sit and pray for a while.
Even five or ten minutes to start with if you are not used to sitting alone and having a quiet time instead of rushing about to get things done.
After all most things will not run away they will still be there waiting for us to do.
Unless of course there is something really urgent that needs to be done then we must get on and do it.
*

I like to think of this Painting that I painted as The Dove of Peace.
*
We do need peace in our hearts most times when we find the patience to sit and pray.
The Lord God gives us patience and peace when we are going through a difficult situation.
But the thing is we do need to ask Him.
Also He will comfort us when we do cry out to Him.
Jesus taught us to pray His special Prayer ‘The Lords Prayer’
Which is best to pray if you are not sure how to pray because that
covers all that we need.
*
*May God Bless you today with His Love*
