Be Kind
Proverbs Chapter 14 verse 31.
He who oppresses the poor
shows contempt for their Maker
but whoever is kind to the needy
honours God.

Who of us that belong to God would want to oppress the poor? However this does seem to happen sometimes without us even knowing until it is pointed out to us by God. The poor are not only those without financial or worldly goods but are those poor souls without Jesus. The kindest thing we can do is to tell them about Him as well as befriending them.

Let us see how nice it is to be kind to one another. Sometimes just a smile will do. Other times we may need to do a bit more to be kind to those we love. How often do we take our families for granted expecting them to do things for us and grumbling when they don’t. Well – maybe we should look at our own attitude remembering that we will honour God our Heavenly Father when we take time to appreciate those who are in our care.
It is good to let others know that we have Jesus in our lives and as Christians encourage others to want to know why.
God Bless you today if you are a Christian and also if you are not maybe you may decide to become one. It is very easy – just repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your life, how about that then?………..Well one day you may give it a go……..
To Repent means: that you do not want to do that bad thing again whatever it is or was.

Fertile Field

Isaiah: Chapter 32: verses 15-16.
Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high
and the desert becomes a fertile field
and the fertile field seems like a forest.
Justice will dwell in the desert
and righteousness live in the fertile field.

Praise The Lord that He pours out His Spirit upon us without measure when we ask of Him and walk in obedience to God our Father. We too can then become like a fertile field even maybe like a forest of goodness for The Lord.

Hellooooooooooo – it looks like we need to ask The Lord to pour out His Holy Spirit on us, otherwise we cannot even be obedient to God without help. Also we need to pray that His Spirit can be poured out on our Land to bring a harvest to fruition, for Creation to flourish for us to enjoy. It would be marvellous for the Desert to Bloom, just imagine what a wonderful thing that would be.
In this part of Australia we are famous for being a Wild Flower State, during Spring the North West begins to Bloom with acres and acres of Wild Flowers, you can drive for eight hours and see the colourful display of them not touched by human hands. Acres of Pinks then Yellows then Purples a lovely sight to behold it feels just like driving through Heaven with beautiful fragrance.

The Key
Does God hold the KEY to your Heart?

Psalm 7 verse 10
My shield is God Most High,
who saves
the upright in heart.

When our heart is right with God He truly is our shield against the devil and all his ways. We best watch out on the occasions when our heart is not right toward God. That is when sin can enter in and God will not be our shield to stop it entering. Today let us try to be right in our hearts and in our thinking.

Well where are we up to today, can we say that God is the Key to our heart, can we say that God is our shield against all evil. Let us pray that we truly can.

Love One Another
1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 verse 3
“A new command I give you: Love one another, as I have loved you, so you must love one another” If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love, I gain nothing.”

We as humans cannot possibly live to the full without love. As you read the above chapter, I pray that The Lord Jesus will guide you into greater understanding regarding the facts about love. It is one of the most beautiful and powerful chapters in the Bible. Without His love and the love of God we truly are nothing.

Well there we are – we know now that God wants us to love one another and that we really cannot live our lives on this earth without some sort of love. It is good to know that we can give love to our families and our pets. Sometimes we do not have a human being to share our life with but love goes on through us not only to our neighbours, our friends, our families but to all creatures – great and small –
So today let us try to be kind to whoever comes before us today, even if it is someone who we do not get on with very well, it is a command from God that we show them His love. Being kind I beleive is showing love, we don’t have to gush over people with hugs and kisses to ebarrass them do we?

Isaiah: Chapter 58 verse 11
The LORD shall guide thee continually
and satisfy thy soul

We do need to Praise The Lord for the rain that falls – it falls on the righteous and the unfrighteous. As Christians it is good that we can receive not just the wet rain that we can see but that we can receive the refeshing of the Holy Spirit. That of course we cannot see – but yes – sometimes we can feel His Presence with us – that is really refreshing for our spirits and and souls.
So let us rejoice and ask for a fresh outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit on the Town and Country that we live in.

Not Ashamed
Romans: Chapter 1 verse 16.
For I am not ashamed
of
the Gospel of Christ.

I pray that we too are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. That we will speak to unbelievers about Jesus and not be embarrassed or ashamed to mention His Name anbd tell them what He has done for us.

Well………..are you ashamed of the Gospel of Christ…..?????
Are you frightened to tell people that you beleive in Jesus ?
Are you frightened that they may think you are away with the fairies ?
If you are frightened that unbleivers will not go to Heaven when they die……..then……….you will not be frightened to tell them about the Gospel of Christ.
Tell them that Jesus is real….Tell them what you believe is the Truth written in the Holy Bible.
Keep things simple – just tell them Jesus really did come to this Earth that we live on to save our Souls….. Yes we do all have a Soul and yes we do have a right to believe or not to believe.
God has given us Free Will – we are not puppets.
We can chose whether we go to Heaven or Hell.
God has got feelings and would love us to belong to His family with Jesus Christ His Son.

Ephesians: Chapter 4 verse 1
As a prisoner for The Lord,
then I urge you to live a life
worthy of the calling
you have received.

What a wonderful thing it is when God Himself has called us into His Kingdom. What an honour to be a prisoner for Jesus. It’s only with His help that we can ever be truly worthy of the calling we have received to work for the Kingdom of God.

So – if we are Christians we need to try to be worthy and do some work at least for The Kingdom of God.
I do know that we do not have to work for our Salvation as it is already ours when we invite Jesus into our lives having then repented of our sins and have been forgiven of them.
Therefore one of the things that we can do for God our Father in Heaven would be a good thing to try not to do that sin again. Then how good would we feel that being a prisoner of Jesus we can do that for Him.
If you happen to feel that you are living in a prison at the moment, either in your home or a relationship – remember what the disciples did when they were in a real prison……?
Well they sang – what a privilege to be able to sing out loud or in our hearts to God and thank Him for our Salvation which no-one can take away from us.
Praise The Lord.

The Way is…..
St. John: Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus answered,
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No-one comes to The Father
except through me”

No other religion anywhere can go to God our Father in Heaven unless they accept Jesus Christ as Lord. We must invite Jesus into our hearts for our own spirit in us to be Born Again into the Kingdom of God. I praise The Lord that I have done that, what about yourself, remember today is a good day, if you have not already done so.
Well that give us food for thought dosn’t it?
If you are not sure how to be Born Again into Gods Kingdom – well all you have to do is to say to God that you repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life.
That sounds very easy dosn’t it?
But you have to be sincere and really mean it. If you do, you may find that your addictions (if you have any) will start to be less important to you and you may have a lovely peace and contentment in your heart and life.
Also you can then look forward – knowing that when you leave this life you will go to be in Heaven with Jesus the Christ, God’s true Son.
That is really worth thinking about.
You do need to tell a Christian that you have taken this important step – because speaking out is an action of Faith and is a real confirmation that you are truly Born Again into the Kingdom of God.
Then you can start to Read The Holy Bible
(that is the Word of God)

Sheep without Blemish
Psalm 100 verse 3
Know that The LORD is God.
It is He who made us and we are His,
we are His people,
the sheep of His pasture.

It’s incredible to know that we have a Shepherd, who cares enough for us, that He sent His only Son Jesus to be slain on the Cross as a Sheep without blemish for our sins.
Let us try to be sheep without blemish.
Shall we start afresh today?

Well the thing is – how do we become a Sheep without Blemish?
It seems most unlikely that we can ever be a Sheep without Blemish.
But – when we repent of our sins – surprise – surprise – Jesus forgives us and the Blemish of that or those sins that we repent of are washed away.
So that would be a Blemish gone.
– But Wait –
Are there more things we need to repent of so that we can be Blemish Free i.e. Do we have a sin of – Anger, Addiction, Vioence, Unholy thoughts, Gossip, Slander, Gluttony, Self Indulgence.
Well with all that to think about I may never be a Sheep without Blemish!
But there is hope – we must take one Day at a Time and rejoice that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and He loves us Just as We Are.
However, I am sure that He hopes because we belong as Sheep in His fold (His Kingdom) we will try with His help to get rid of ungodly things.

Accused of being a Christian
Accused of being a Christian?
If someone accused you of being aChristian
would there be enough evidence
to prove that you are one?

Don’t be offended by the above, think quietly a moment to understand what it means. i.e. is there enough evidence in our every day living to show that we belong to Gods Kingdom?
Do we speak and act lovingly towards others each day, not just when we feel like it!
What evidence can we show today?
Can we forgive?
Are we walking in truth and righteousness?

Well that certainly gives us something to think about dosn’t it?
Mostly as Christians we think that we do pretty good but when we actually sit quietly and think about it, what do we really see.
How do we think that others observe us? How do we observe them? i.e. our friends – our neighbours – our Church friends – our Congregations – our families – our work mates.
We are not to judge others that is our Father in Heaven’s job to do that but we can look and see – then we may see our own shortcomings.
Oh! Dear,,,,, what do we see. …. are we walking in righteousness and truth, have we forgiven whoever we need to have forgiven, are we using swere words, are we listening to The Holy Spirit?……..not to the unholy one.
Looks like we do have a fair bit to consider – then it is really nice if someone does accuse us of being a Christian, that would be a blessing indeed.
John Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus answered:

So to be a Christian (if you are not one) all you have to do is ask Jesus to come into your life, repent of your sins and He will be with you forever, including The Holy Spirit also God (Jesus Father in Heaven).
Then let a Christian know that you too belong to The Kingdom of God.
And Look forward to being accused of being a Christian.!!!
It is a privilege to be a Christian.
