The Right Words
The Painting is of a Billabong in North West Australia that I painted in ‘Oils’
One of the lovely places that The Lord allows us see and to visit.
We do not have to worry about any right words to say about places like this
– just to look and enjoy them is enough.

Ephesians Chapter 6 verses 19-20.
Pray also for me, that when ever I open my mouth,
words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,
for which I am an ambassador in chains.
Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
***
It was Paul who said the above,
however I believe it applies to all of us who walk with Jesus and want to declare the Gospel.
Sometimes we feel that we are not free to declare the gospel but we are free
and must ask that The Lord make the way for us to speak out to those souls around us
who are in darkness who do not know Jesus.
Let us pray that when we open our mouths that the right words also be given to us today.

So there may be a lesson in the above for us to think about how we speak to our family and friends. It makes a lot of difference when we speak kindly to each other – not just about sharing the Gospel but in our everyday lives. Our children and friends know how we feel sometimes by the way that we are speaking. If we feel sad, happy, angry etc., they can know by the tone of our voice. Also if we condemn someone for doing wrong it is not good to shout at them, let us try to tell them in a kind way so they do not feel too bad about whatever it is we are trying to get them to put right. Well at least we can but try.

Our Treasures*
Proverbs: Chapter 10 verse 2
Ill-gotten treasurers are of no value
but righteousness delivers from death.
*
That is true isn’t it? If we have something that we have received wrongly, however much we treasure it we will still have that feeling of guilt i.e. that it is an ill-gotten thing.
We really can’t take anything that we know God does not want us to have.
What a release in our spirit we feel when we give back or release those wrong Treasures.
Jesus forgives and we are back in righteousness, delivered from the feeling of death and can rejoice in our righteousness. Praise The Lord!

So what wonderful Treasures do we have that maybe we should not have? Perhaps they could be some ungodly Books, or ungodly D.V.D’s maybe C.D’s
What about all the Treasures on our Computers? Could be Treasure’s of ungodly photo’s – hidden in a file for privacy. But God can see all things whether they be righteous or unrighteous.
Let us search our hearts and get rid of all that is not O.K.
We don’t have to ask or tell anyone about it – just do it – ask Jesus for forgiveness – feel the release in our spirit and get on with life as it should be lived in Righteousness and Truth.
It is a lovely feeling to be able to share the Love of The Lord when we are really walking in a bit more holiness.

*Love is to Share *
1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 verse 1.
……. but if I have not love,
I am only a resounding gong
or a clanging cymbal.
***
Imagine being empty and sounding like a clanging cymbal,
we do need to be filled with love,
the kind of love that only Jesus can give us.
To receive His love so that we can give it out to others
we really must want the Love of God Our Heavenly Father
and of Jesus Christ His Son to be in our hearts.
By the Holy Spirit we then can share the Love of The Lord.

Just a short message today but –

Do you Sing?
Psalm: 101 verse 1
I will sing of Your love and Justice;
To You, O LORD, I will sing praise.
***
It is lovely to sing praises to The LORD our God and to Jesus.
Have you ever asked The Holy Spirit to help you sing?
He is so lovely, I believe He loves to hear us singing.
Even quietly in our own prayer time we can ask The Holy Spirit to be with our singing.
So today maybe put some music on that you like to listen to – with one of your favourite people singing and then hopefully sing along with them while working around the house. It is amazing what singing can do for you, especially if you feel a bit down about things. Also if you are feeling happy put some happy music on.
The other thing to do sometimes is to put some Christian Songs on and sing- along with them and enjoy your day.
The Link above you may like to look at. It is a book of daily readings that can be used year after year as it is not dated just for one year. The Lord has already blessed some people with the daily readings you never know what the Word of the Lord can be for you each day.
I Pray that you have a lovely Day today.

We are not Alone !

John: Chapter 16 verse 31
……… Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.
***
As Christians we know that God our Father is with us. When Jesus went back to Heaven He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us – to teach, comfort and also to fellowship with us. Where The Holy Spirit is, there also are The Father and The Son. Just think how blessed we are – we are never alone!
(You may like to check out what the Word says in your Bible of the Scripture above)
Well now – how about that? What do you think about being alone, do you think sometimes that you really are alone? Well even if we think that, sometimes we should remember that God our Heavenly Father can see us just where we are. If we are feeling lonely, sad, miserable and on our own, maybe we need to remember what the above verse says, whether we believe it or not as Christians The Holy Spirit of Jesus is always with us as He promised when He went back to Heaven.
So let us not be downcast or feel too lonely today, put on a happy face, dance and sing, talk to the dog (or cat) or whatever your pet maybe – if you have one. If not maybe put on some Christian music – the devil does not like that – because he has to flee away from you and from your loneliness… make a nice Cup of drink, have something to eat – to cheer you up.
A good idea is to phone a friend if you are really feeling very lonely, just to talk for a while makes a lot of difference to yourself and maybe also to the friend you are phoning. It is good to think of others in your circle of family and friends who maybe so pleased to hear your voice on the phone.
Hopefully your loneliness will just disappear, then you can Praise The Lord for His love toward you and begin to thank Him for all the Blessings He has given and will be giving you. (That goes for me as well) !
I hope you have a lovely day today – you may like to check out this Link for ‘Drink from the Cup’ book that the above Bible reading came from.
