WE CAN
2 Corinthians Chapter 2 verse 10
Godly sorrow brings repentance
that leads to salvation
and leaves no regret
but worldly sorrow brings death.
***
When we truly repent our hearts can sing because we know that we are forgiven, that we will definitely try not to offend God in the way that we used to. Godly sorrow is good because although we can be sad about the circumstance that has arisen we are blessed so much when we take hold of the fact that Jesus has forgiven us and that our sin is blotted out from Our Father in Heaven. In worldly sorrow there can be no joy, in Godly sorrow Jesus rejoices that we repent and grants us peace in our hearts.

This was going to be a Poem……but never mind, I hope you like what is written. It is called:
WE CAN
We are in this world of sin – We do not have to take part in it
We have been given a conscience – We can choose to do right or to sin
We can do all lovely things – We can sing and dance
We can eat and drink – We can love or not love
We can swim or drown – We can walk or run
We can write or draw – We can choose what we want
We can help others or not help – We can do all these things
We can do so much in this world – We can do good things instead of bad
We can decide not to sin – We can use our brain to decide
We can use our heart to discern – We can love The Lord our God
We can love each other – We can therefore have no need to sin.

Peace be with you
This a lovely peacefull scene of an ‘Oil Painting’ that I Painted.
Acts: Chapter 8 verse 4.
Those who had been scattered
preached the word
wherever they went.

Today will be a good day for us to preach the Word, even in a small way. If we tell someone about Jesus today it will help forward the Gospel of Peace.

Just to think that we as Christians have a great responibility to let people know about Jesus wherever we are. Maybe on holiday or while we are shopping, sometimes an opportunity will arise that we can say something about the Peace of The Lord.
For instance we can say God Bless you to people
(now that is not too hard to say is it)?
By saying just a simple thing like that helps to show that you believe that God is real. We cannot all preach the word like some can but we can do our part and that helps to spread The Word.
We can let someone know that Jesus loves them, especially if they are in any kind of need.
To show others that you care about them and their everyday life is a great blessing to some people.
So whereever we are scattered about in this world – we, as Christians are to do our best to encourage others to come to know The Lord Jesus and especially our Heavenly Father God.
I pray you have a lovely day and that God will bring before you those who He would like you to talk to today.
Also that The Holy Spirit
will help you to do so.
* God Bless You with Peace –
for caring about others *

Grace today

Galatians: Chapter 1 verse 3
Grace and peace to you
from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.
*****
It is lovely today to know the grace and peace that can only come from God and Jesus. If you have a spare minute right now, sit and receive that wonderful peace, remember – ask and you shall receive.
Taken from book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R. Larman.
*****
Have you ever just sat quietly on your own to try to receive that peace that comes from God our Heavely Father. It is worth a try – after all what can you loose when you find time to sit without the tele on or the radio on or any of the family around.
It can seem quite odd
if you have never sat quietly
on your own
but it is worth a try.
If you are indoors – sit in your favourite chair, if you are outside maybe in the garden find somewhere to sit on your own. Wherever you decide to be – look around where you are and begin to feel the peace in your heart even if it is only for a few minutes.
Try to sit a little longer, all the chores of the day will not run away, they will still be there for you to do. So treat yourself to a bit of quiet time to receive the Grace and Peace of The Lord.
Have a lovely Day.
(The Peace of The Lord is beyond our understanding)

Let us have Joy
Romans: Chapter 14 verse 17
For the Kingdom of God
is not a matter of eating and drinking
but of Righteousness,
Peace and Joy in
The Holy Spirit.
***
Today let us walk with The Holy Spirit of Jesus in that lovely Peace and Joy that only comes from
The Kingdom of God.
***
The above is taken from the book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R. Larman.
As this is a new day today, let us choose to walk in Peace and Joy if we can with our families and friends. When we get a New Day it is good to think what are we going to do with it?????????
We do really have a choice – sometimes we think we don’t have, if we are feeling ill or lonely or neglected – but we still can make a choice not to be a victim even in those circumstances. We can try to find JOY in something during the day. Even to cuddle the cat, pat the dog, read a book, sit in the sun or eat something nice.
Today is to be lived,
tomorrow – today, will be gone.
Well what are you going to do today? It says in the Bible it is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace and joy in The Holy Spirit.
If you are a Christian The Holy Spirit is with you and can help you to walk in JOY today – he does like you to ask Him though.
I pray you have a lovely day walking in the Love of Jesus.
Soar in the Heavenlies with Joy in your heart.

Jesus knew…..
Drawing of Key by J.M.R. Larman.
……………………….
St. John Chapter 13 verse 3
Jesus knew that the Father had put
all things under His power
and
that He had come from God
and
was returning to God;
***
As Christians we have been given the Power that Jesus bestowed upon us to use for His Kingdom while we live on this earth, then when our time is right we shall return to God our maker in Heaven to be with Jesus. Let us make good use today of that divine power and walk in the love of The Lord Jesus.
Taken from the book ‘Drink from the Cup’ by: J.M.R.Larman.
***
So the Key to the Power of the Kingdom of God is Jesus, he has bestowed on us Power to use by His Holy Spirit indwelling in us when we have accepted Jesus as Lord of our life. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus, who helps us to pray, who opens the door to the throne room of God, who will hear our Prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord.
What a privilage to be able to Pray to our Heavenly Father at any time day or night. Remember The Holy Spirit never sleeps He is with us always, to comfort and guide us, teach us and lead us in the ways of The Kingdom of God. Now that must be Power indeed.
Did you know that I beleive The Dove represents
the Holy Spirit.

* Have a Lovely Powerful Day walking
in the Power of Jesus,
in Peace & Love & Joy
to share with others *
