Do we have Patience Today?

Here we have a Painting of the Lyons River N.W. Australia.
This is a good illustration of having patience while waiting for the River to Flow.

Psalm 40 verse 1

I waited patiently for The LORD;

He turned to me and heard my cry.

*

I pray LORD that I may always wait for you and that you will hear my cry,

wherever I may be at any time here on this earth.

I pray that The LORD hears your cry today

for what ever your needs may be.

Also that you may have peace in your heart today. Amen.

Yes we do need to Pray.

Well we do need to have patience even to pray sometimes,
because time gets away from us and we think we will wait until a later time.

Then we find that the day has gone and we did not find that (later time) to pray.
If only we could start the day off with a prayer how much better our day may be.
It does take patience to let go of other things we would like to be doing
and to just sit and pray for a while.
Even five or ten minutes to start with if you are not used to sitting alone and having a quiet time instead of rushing about to get things done.
After all most things will not run away they will still be there waiting for us to do.
Unless of course there is something really urgent that needs to be done then we must get on and do it.

I like to think of this Painting that I painted as The Dove of Peace.

*

We do need peace in our hearts most times when we find the patience to sit and pray.

The Lord God gives us patience and peace when we are going through a difficult situation.

But the thing is we do need to ask Him.

Also He will comfort us when we do cry out to Him.

Jesus taught us to pray His special Prayer ‘The Lords Prayer’

Which is best to pray if you are not sure how to pray because that

covers all that we need.

Jerusalem is Special

This is a photo of Morning Glory in my Garden.

I reminds me of Trumpets.

Psalm 122 verse 6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

“May those who love You be secure”

***

Let us not forget to pray for Jerusalem.

The Holy City, where Jesus will be coming back to Zion His Holy Hill.

As we pray, we can feel secure in the love of God our Father and Jesus His Son.

So pray today for the peace of Jerusalem, be glad that God is in control of everything.

From Book. “Drink from the Cup”

I think the above Psalm is a reminder for us to pray for Jerusalem – God’s Special City.  Let us pray for His Peace to be there day after day for those that live and work there.  We can pray that any hostility begins to cease and everyone can begin to live peaceably in Israel and Palestine.  So that the everyday people can be at peace in their hearts.

We can also Pray for the place that we are living in at the moment be it a Town, a City, a Village or a Provence somewhere.

It is good to remember what the Bible say’s ‘The Prayers of a righteous man availeth much’ really that means that the prayers we utter should come from our heart, not just idle words, not prayers that we speak out to impress anyone but prayers that we really mean if we want God to answer them.

* I Pray that you have a lovely day today,

with the Peace of The Lord in your heart

whatever the circumstances you find yourself in *

Proverbs:  12 verse 28

In the way of righteousness there is life;

along that path is immortality.

*

Today is another day for us to walk in righteousness,

to walk in true life on our way to immortality,

to eternity.

Walk in righteousness with Jesus today,

tell Him you love Him and look forward

to the day when we walk in Heaven with Him.

Well what does it mean then to walk in righteousness?

I think it means that we should be careful what we say and do, especially in front of our little children and also in the presence of our grown up family and friends.  Children mainly only know what they are taught, so we do need to try to teach them the right way to live.  That surely would be walking in righteousness for us to show them how.

We all make mistakes and cannot be perfect all the time, however we can say sorry if we have said or done the wrong thing.  Jesus forgives us when we repent and say with are sorry, then of course we can feel free of any guilt that we have said or done the wrong thing and hopefully remember not to do it again.

Yes Children need to be taught to do the right thing – also they need to be taught to say the word sorry to their friends and family, even as we need to do so.

I hope you have a lovely day trying to walk in Righteousness with The Lord, remember The Holy Spirit will help you if you ask Him – especially if you are struggling with any problems regarding your walk with Jesus.

* God Bless You Today *
