What about your Heart?

Acts 16: verses 14 – 15.
The Lord opened Lydia’s heart to receive
the message of Salvation from Paul.
Then all her household was baptized.

Maybe you can ask God to open your heart for Jesus Christ to come in today, unless you have already done so. If you have, please pray for all those souls who do not know the Lord Jesus, ask that their hearts be softened to receive Him, even maybe today.

Pray for Lost Souls.
I know that your heart grieves God for all those lost souls who have not come to the knowledge and love of Jesus yet. I pray Lord God that you will allow your Holy Spirit to move around them to somehow soften their hard hearts towards you. I pray today that Christians will be able to speak out of the love of Jesus so that those who are not saved will indeed begin to wonder what they are missing out on. I pray that today many souls will come into Salvation throughout the world.
Help us as Christians to reach out to those who are in the world, help us to reach out with love, joy and peace to who-ever you bring before us today. May your signs and miracles continue through out the world as a sure witness that Jesus is alive, that He lives for ever and ever with you God Our Father in Heaven. Bless all who come before us today God and also please bless me so that I too can be a blessing for others. Amen.

Should we Grumble ?

Exodus: Chapter 16 verse 9
Then Moses told Aaron,
“Say to the entire Israelite community,
‘ Come before The LORD,
for He has heard your grumbling.’ “

Even today do you know that The LORD can hear our grumbling? Yes He can! Let us try to get through the day without a grumble. Well, we can try and with the help of The Holy spirit – we could hopefully make it!

Sometimes we seem to grumble a lot, especially when things don’t go right for us. Or when we don’t agree with our brothers, sisters, family and friends. It is difficult not to grumble when we are upset about something. But – if we can stop and think to Praise The Lord and ask Him to sort the problem out for us, it would make more sense than complaining about whatever the problem was or is.
No I am not that clever to think to ask The Lord for help sometimes when something does not go right as I think it should. Then after a time if we carry on with our grumbling, we need to repent and ask to be forgiven for what we have been grumbling about. Just think – when we are grumbling we do not have the Peace of the Lord do we? So the sooner we can stop complaining, make a cup of tea or do something nice we will feel better.

It is a very nice book of about 60 Poems, Verses etc., with Illustrations. I especially like the one about ‘ The Clown’ also many of them give us food for thought to Praise The Lord.

The Book of Prayers is a help for new Christians (and some of us older ones) to pray different prayers when we get stuck for what to pray for. I am hoping it may help someone to use during their Prayer time.
I hope you have a good day today
and the peace of The Lord
be with you in the coming days.
