Do we Sin?

1 John: Chapter 1 verse 2
Only The Blood of Jesus Purifies us from sin.
(The Bible tells us this)

This is true, remember Jesus died on the cross for us as a sacrifice for our sin.
We were born as sinful, into a sinful world.
When we accept Jesus into our hearts we are washed clean of sin by is blood.
We are then new creatures, we are born again of the Spirit.
Then although tempted we need never sin,
it does not have to have dominion over us.

Do you ever think about sin? We do things without thinking sometimes not realizing that it is something that we should not do. When in doubt if it is right or wrong to do something, a good way to work it out is to say to our self (What would Jesus do?). If we are walking with The Holy Spirit – He will help guide us if we ask Him.
Even our thoughts can be sinful, so we need to guard our mind and get rid of those wrong thoughts as quickly as we can. Maybe put our mind on to something different or we could put some music on. But try as best as we can to think more clearly.
Fleeting thoughts come and go, quickly they fade away.
Like a whisper they are gone like a breath of air.
Quickly some come, then are gone.
Some never to come again. Thoughts are words,
Words from the heart, thoughts from our minds.
We cannot snatch them back.

Sowing Kingdom Seeds
This Flower is the Passionfruit Flower it was a photo taken in my garden. It has beautiful fragrant fruit which is very beneficial for us to eat. The meaning of the Flower is: – it illustrates the passion of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
John: Chapter 4 verse 37.
Thus the saying ‘ One sows and another reaps’ is true.

Lots of us are meant to be sowers of the seed, that is sowers of the Word of the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ. Have you sown any seed yet for The Kingdom? How lovely for God to have a harvest of our fruit from the seeds that we have sown? Let us begin to sow in readiness for a great harvest of souls.

Can we say No?

Proverbs: Chapter 1 verse 10
My Son,
if sinners entice you,
do not give in to them.

If someone asks you to sin today please say no!
It’s as simple as that, the devil cannot make us do wrong things it is up to us to choose.
So let us try today not to do those wrong things.
In any case it will save us having to ask Jesus to forgive us again for that sin.
That’s worth thinking about!

Well how can we say NO when other people ask us to do something that we really should not do? It is very difficult when it is a friend or a family member that asks us that awkward question. The best thing I think is to say (I will have to think about it) that gives us time to wait until a suitable moment to say – No sorry I can’t do that.
If they persist -then you need to give some sort of explanation as to why you are saying NO !
If you are a Christian you can say that it is against what you believe and that you really prefer not to do – whatever it is they are asking you to do. BUT we must stop feeling guilty when we say NO…
If it is the right thing to say – then there is no reason to feel really bad about it.
Remember the Devil cannot make us say YES to do that wrong thing – it is up to us – we should be in control of what we are saying. If you are still not sure just think and ask yourself (What would Jesus do?)
