Yes we are Worthy
2 Thessalonians: Chapter 1 verse 11
With this in mind,
we constantly pray for you,
that our God may count you worthy of His calling
and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose
of yours and every act prompted by your faith.

I pray today that you will feel worthy to be called by God and will know what He wants you to do for Him today. As you walk in your faith you will see things being fulfilled that you have been asking and seeking God for. Know that God sees you as worthy, because He has called you and you will know this if you have truly accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

Well what can we say about being Worthy? In the Dictionary it says – to be good enough, suitable, deserving. So how do we feel about ourselves – often we feel we are not good enough and therefore do not deserve all the things that we have or even the things that we do are not good enough.
But the thing is that when we have accepted Jesus into our lives we have a helper – who is The Holy Spirit. If we ask Him He will help us to be more Worthy, more deserving etc., as we walk with The Lord we will be able to show more care and love towards those in our family also our pets and people who we meet while shopping or travelling each day. Also with the faith that we have – however large or small – remember we can Pray. Jesus taught His Disciples to pray especially the one that we do know as The Lords Prayer. If you are not sure how or what to Pray for this Prayer covers everything that we need as individuals.
God Our Heavenly Father loves us to Pray, so give it a go. If you are not used to doing so, remember you are Worthy to Pray for your family and friends also do not forget to Pray for yourself. God supplies all our needs but He does like us to ask and also the thank Him for all our Blessings.
Jesus has made us Worthy to Receive and Worthy to Pray.
May God Our Heavenly Father Bless us today as we try to be more deserving of His Love.
Our Soul is Precious

I pray that you find peace and love in God our Heavenly Father today.
Psalm 62 verse 1
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.

When I sit and pray, do you know, my soul does find rest in God.
I pray that you find rest in God today.
We do know that our salvation comes from Him.
God does love our souls to be at rest in Him,
whether we are at work,
play or in prayer.
So today let us be at rest in God as we get on with our daily tasks etc.,

Well there we are then now we know what to do when we get stressed out !……yes, just sit for a while quietly and tell God our Heavenly Father what the matter is. He can hear us you know, Jesus knows our thoughts and He sent The Holy Spirit to Comfort us . However, unless we sit and tell God what is troubling us The Holy Spirit will not be able to comfort us. We usually go on in our own sweet way thinking things will get better in a minute and are quite surprised that they don’t. Well – what about stopping for a moment and telling God that we need help.
The Shortest Prayer that I know or can say when all seems to fail is:-………………Please Help me God………..
Be honest and say that you can’t do whatever you need to do on your own, tell Him the problem, it does not matter what the problem is He may not help unless you ask him to.
God our Heavenly Father has given us free will to choose to ask or not to ask – so it is up to us – if we would like His help or not.
So we can stay stressed out or Pray that God will help us and allow The Holy Spirit to comfort us in any kind of need that we are in. As Christians we know that through Jesus we can pray straight to God our Father, no need to pray through Mary or any of the saints – we have a hot line or phone line to God.
Give it a try if you are a Christian……and you can only be a Christian if you have invited Jesus Christ our Lord into your life (into your heart) as some people say.
So if you are not a Christian reading this you may like to give it a go
with Jesus – God’s Son.

Jude: Chapter 1 verses 17-18
But, dear friends,
remember what the apostles
of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.
They said to you,
“In the last times there will be scoffers
who will follow their own
ungodly desires“

Today, maybe we can try to follow Godly desires a bit better.
It may be difficult sometimes
but I for one do not want to be a scoffer
nor do I want to do ungodly things.
If you are a Christian you will be feeling the same way,
God will bless us for trying, that we do know.

Do you realize that when we find it difficult not to sin
– we do really have a direct line to God
our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The quickest Prayer that I know is:-
“Help Lord”
To Scoff at someone is to belittle them
or to mock them or to speak derisively,
especially about religion
or to taunt someone making them a laughing stock
to friends or people who may be listening.

Let us not stoop to some of these UNGODLY DESIRES !

Well – as you can see on here, I can’t talk to you face to face, so I have put the scroll at the top of the page to remind us that even if we cannot talk face to face we can still communicate by writing to each other. Even if it is only at special times like Birthdays or Christmas etc., It is still something special to receive a word from a friend.
Then again we can keep in touch by telephone, e-mail, or Skype or Facebook or Twitter etc., etc.,
There is no limit now to how we can keep in touch with family and friends and as Christians that is a really good thing to do.
But how often do we go on our merry way thinking we will get in touch tomorrow or later and sometimes tomorrow never comes. Have we missed out on talking (not face to face) but talking especially to our loved ones, even to say ‘Hello” maybe the only friendly words they have heard that day.
Yes face to face the ideal way – many of us are far away – so let us pray that today would be a really good day to say that ‘Hello’ to someone we may have been meaning to and have not got around to it.
Anyway it is lovely to talk to you like this – so I hope you have had time to read and know that yes it would be lovely for me to talk to you FACE to FACE.
