God hear’s us (you and me) !!!
Psalm 55 verse 22
Cast your cares on The LORD
and
He will sustain you;
He will never let the righteous fall.
*
Isn’t that marvellous, that our God will sustain us!
Whatever our circumstance,
being righteous in Jesus Christ –
when we call on God He does hear us.
From the book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R.Larman.
*
Do you know that God does hear our Prayers. To be sure that He hears them we do need to have Jesus in our heart as our Lord and Saviour. So we then can Pray straight to God our Heavenly Father. When we are learning to pray – a good Prayer is The Lord’s Prayer. If we are a new Christian and not sure what to pray this is a good one to learn.
This is the Prayer that Jesus taught His Disciples to pray and it really covers every thing that we need.
Of course we can pray for anything at anytime and as long as it is within God’s Will He will allow it for us to come into being. Maybe not straight away and that is when we start to doubt whether He has heard our prayer. You see sometimes it is not good for us to have everything we want just when we want it.
When we were a child we had to wait until we were old enough to have certain things or to go to certain places maybe on our own and our Parent would say ( ‘no’ you have to wait) Well God is our Heavenly Father and He knows what is best for us and He cares for us. In whatever circumstance’s we find ourselves it is good to know that He cares about us and loves us and will provide for us at the right time.
It is good to know that we have a God of Love who cares for us and our families.
We do need to Pray for our loved ones so they can also be blessed.
* God Bless you – have a Lovely Day today *

Our Soul is Precious
This is a Painting of a lovely peaceful Farm over looking the distant hills.
I pray that you find peace and love in God our Heavenly Father today.
Psalm 62 verse 1
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.
*
When I sit and pray, do you know, my soul does find rest in God.
I pray that you find rest in God today.
We do know that our salvation comes from Him.
God does love our souls to be at rest in Him,
whether we are at work,
play or in prayer.
So today let us be at rest in God as we get on with our daily tasks etc.,
Taken from Book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R.Larman.
Well there we are then now we know what to do when we get stressed out !……yes, just sit for a while quietly and tell God our Heavenly Father what the matter is. He can hear us you know, Jesus knows our thoughts and He sent The Holy Spirit to Comfort us . However, unless we sit and tell God what is troubling us The Holy Spirit will not be able to comfort us. We usually go on in our own sweet way thinking things will get better in a minute and are quite surprised that they don’t. Well – what about stopping for a moment and telling God that we need help.
The Shortest Prayer that I know or can say when all seems to fail is:-………………Please Help me God………..
Be honest and say that you can’t do whatever you need to do on your own, tell Him the problem, it does not matter what the problem is He may not help unless you ask him to.
God our Heavenly Father has given us free will to choose to ask or not to ask – so it is up to us – if we would like His help or not.
So we can stay stressed out or Pray that God will help us and allow The Holy Spirit to comfort us in any kind of need that we are in. As Christians we know that through Jesus we can pray straight to God our Father, no need to pray through Mary or any of the saints – we have a hot line or phone line to God.
Give it a try if you are a Christian……and you can only be a Christian if you have invited Jesus Christ our Lord into your life (into your heart) as some people say.
So if you are not a Christian reading this you may like to give it a go
with Jesus – God’s Son.
*
I pray that you have a lovely Day today and that any Stress that is with you will start to dissipate any minute.
May God Bless You and your loved ones today.

Beauty
Psalm 93 verse 1
The LORD reigns,
He is robed in majesty;
The LORD is robed in majesty
and is armed with strength.
*
To see you in your majesty LORD would be wonderful,
while we live on this earth we can only imagine your glory,
with angels around you crying holy, holy, holy.
Although you are mighty in majesty,
you are our strength,
those of us who belong to you through Jesus Christ our Lord,
praise you LORD God in your beauty and majesty.
From: ‘Drink from the Cup’ Book. By: J. M. R. Larman.
***
Have you ever thought about the Angels being around the throne of God our Heavenly Father.
They must be very beautiful.
No eye has ever seen the Glory of God.
However we can experience His Glory of peace, love, joy, also contentment.
They must surely be part of His Glory.
The beauty of the Universe, the sky, the sea, all living creatures – are surely part of His Glory.
Let us take time to appreciate the creation of this earth, our families, our friends, the butterflies, the birds, the new born babies of all species including us human beings.
As for us we were born in the likeness of God i.e. the likeness of Jesus, not in the likeness of Monkey’s or Apes.
So let us think that sometimes the Glory of God can be around us in the Sunsets, the Moon Light, also in our everyday lives – then we can Praise God for all His Blessings towards us.

May God Bless you and your loved ones today.

A Phantom?
Yes I painted it……just copied from one of my Paintings….
I thought it looked a bit Phantom like as it has come out a bit fuzzy on here.
Psalm 39 verse 6
Man is a mere phantom as he goes to and fro:
he bustles about but only in vain;
he heaps up wealth,
not knowing who will get it.
*****
Instead of heaping up wealth and belongings let us gladly help our brothers and sisters when they are in need. Don’t wait until you die to leave your inheritance to your children, help them when they need help. As you bless others you will be even more blessed, remember you will never out give God. Every time you bless someone you will feel blessed and you will be blessed.
From Book: ‘Drink from the Cup’. by J.M.R.Larman.
*
Well – that is an odd thing to think about i.e. what are we going to do with our THINGS when we leave this earth. We can’t do any thing about them when we have gone – so maybe a good idea to think about what to do while we are still able to. (This applies to us older people!!!!!!)
All our THINGS are our children or families inheritance. So as some of us get that bit older we can of course give some of our possessions away either to family or to friends or to charity shops as the case may be.
Finance is an odd thing to think about giving away but we could help by giving donations sometimes to help others who are in need.
Also if we have families who are bringing up their children they may be pleased to accept a financial gift. If it is embarrassing to offer – then it could be done at Christmas, Birthday or Holiday time for them to receive some finance from us that would help.
Yes we are not on this earth really very long, which brings to mind a lovely song I learnt as a child: not sure what it is called now but some of the words are: ( May my living not be in vain ), let our living be of use while we are here, even to just help one person I am sure God our Heavenly Father will be glad.
Allelujah
* Have a Lovely Day God Bless You *

Grace today
Kingfisher – Oil Painting by J.M.R. Larman.
*
Galatians: Chapter 1 verse 3
Grace and peace to you
from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.
*****
It is lovely today to know the grace and peace that can only come from God and Jesus. If you have a spare minute right now, sit and receive that wonderful peace, remember – ask and you shall receive.
Taken from book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R. Larman.
*****
Have you ever just sat quietly on your own to try to receive that peace that comes from God our Heavely Father. It is worth a try – after all what can you loose when you find time to sit without the tele on or the radio on or any of the family around.
It can seem quite odd
if you have never sat quietly
on your own
but it is worth a try.
If you are indoors – sit in your favourite chair, if you are outside maybe in the garden find somewhere to sit on your own. Wherever you decide to be – look around where you are and begin to feel the peace in your heart even if it is only for a few minutes.
Try to sit a little longer, all the chores of the day will not run away, they will still be there for you to do. So treat yourself to a bit of quiet time to receive the Grace and Peace of The Lord.
Have a lovely Day.
(The Peace of The Lord is beyond our understanding)

Knowledge
Proverbs: Chapter 1 verse 7
The fear of The LORD is the beginning
of knowledge
but fools despise wisdom
and instruction.
*
I think I shall ask The LORD for more knowledge and wisdom today. I do not want to be a fool. I pray that I do have the fear of The LORD and I certainly do not despise wisdom and knowledge. For my part I know that I do love wisdom and knowledge.
I do know that I definitely need more!
Thank you LORD God that you continue to fill me afresh each day.
Also with the knowledge and love of Jesus.
Taken from ‘Drink from the Cup’ book by:J.M.R.Larman.
***
Well then what are we waiting for, just think we are priviliged to be able to ask God our Heavenly Father for more knowledge and wisdom.
Then of course we are to use it to the best of the ability that God gives us.
A good thing to ask for as well is discernment……so that we can discern what we are about to do at any particular time in our livcs. Day by day we need help with the decisions that we are to make in our every day living. We live only by the grace of God. As we said last time our God is an Awesome God. Just to think He alone gives us the knowlege and wisdom that we need to live our everyday lives here on this earth.
What a privelidge it is to belong to the one true Living God who is our Heavenly Father.
I pray that you recieve ‘The Peace of The Lord” today in your heart, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Especially if you are a Christian living with The Holy Spirit dwelling in you where ever you are at the moment.
Have a lovely Day

Love
I am the baby in the above photo and it has been good to be brought up in a family that shares the Love of God.
*****
1 Corinthians Chapter 13 verse 1
……………but if I have not love,
I am only a resounding gong
or a clanging cymbal.
*****
Imagine being empty and sounding like a clanging cymbal, we do need to be filled with love, the kind of love that only Jesus can give us. To receive His love so that we can give it out to others we really must want the love of God our Heavenly Father and of Jesus Christ His Son to be in our hearts. By the Holy Spirit we then can share the Love of the Lord.
Taken from the book ‘Drink from the Cup’ by:J.M.R.Larman.
*****
So do we have love in our heart
for someone
or something?
*
We do need to have love in our hearts for our family and friends, our pets, our neighbours. Also for those lost souls in the world who do not know The Lord Jesus.
Just think if we do not share the love of Jesus our Lord with others how will they come to have that special love in their hearts that they too can give or show to others.
Well – if we have not asked Jesus to come into our hearts and take charge of our life…..then no, we do not have the LOVE OF GOD in our hearts to give out to the world.
Why not invite Jesus in today?
May God Bless you today with
* HIS LOVE *

Have you Sinned?
Reverse Copy of Scraperboard Drawing

Romans Chapter 3 verse 23.
“For all have sinned
and
come short
of the glory of God”
*****
It sad that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. But Jesus has forgiven our sins and we can press on today knowing that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. So don’t be weighed down by sin, if you have committed a fresh sin, repent, ask Jesus to forgive you, thank Him and press on in faith and have a good day.
The above is taken from the book “Drink from the Cup” by J.M.R. Larman.
*****
Well there we are then – how about a fresh start today to look at what really is sin in our life. It could be anything small or big, it is all the same to God our Heavenly Father whether we tell a lie or commit a terrible crime….sin is sin…
God sent His only Son Jesus to forgive us and save us from the evil one. So we have to try to not give in to things that are not Godly.
When we have Jesus in our life it is a bit easier to stand firm and try our best not to give in to unholy things, even like gossip, pride, stealing, lying, there is quite a long list I think but we can overcome with the help of The Holy Spirit, who is our comforter and guide.
*****
God Bless You Today.
I Pray that you and me can have a Sinless Day.
