How is our Heart Today?
The above is an Oil Painting that I Painted,it was a commission of a Farm Scene for someone.
Matthew: 15 v 19-20
For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man ‘unclean’ but eating with unwashed hands does not make him’unclean’
*****
As we travel through today let us let go of all evil thoughts, how can we possibly be ‘clean’ if we harbour hatred, jealousy, bitterness and strife in our hearts. Dear God please continue to cleanse me with the blood of the Lamb. Help me to banish all unclean things from my heart. Wash me clean Lord of evil things today. Amen.

Well what do you think about the above passage – it gives us food for thought dosn’t it.
I think we all have bad thoughts that come into our hearts and minds sometime and it is hard to get rid of them. Especally if the thoughts are do do with family. Or maybe we get tempted to do something that we should not do but still do it. Then we feel guilty and really need to repent because of our sin. Jesus does forgive us when we pray and really mean that we are sorry, also hopefully not repeat the same thing again.
When we repent it helps to keep our heart clean from all unrightesness so that God will hear our prayers because He does like a clean heart free of all the things mentioned in the above Scipture.

You Asked if Jesus is God ?
Dear Child, You Asked if Jesus is God?
Well – God is our Father in Heaven and Jesus is His Son.
So – God is Jesus’ Daddy, the same as you have a Dad.
As Jesus is now in Heaven with God His Father,
He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us here so we won’t be lonely.
(He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ). We can talk to The Holy Spirit all the time,
whenever we want to. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray to God.
If we want God to be our Heavenly Father we have to ask Jesus to come into our hearts.
(Then – The Holy Spirit – comes in as well) We can then call Jesus Lord.
So we have:- God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit.
All Belong together: – Three in One – ( Three means Trinity)

Contentment

This is an Oil Painting that I did of The Good Shepherd

Philippians: Chapter 4 verse 11
I am not saying this because I am in need,
for I have learned to be content
whatever the circumstances.
*
Today is the start of a new month, let us endeavor to be content if we can this month in what ever circumstances we find ourselves. Let us rest in the knowledge and love of Jesus that He is with us everyday, comforting and guiding us by His Holy Spirit.
Taken from the book ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R.Larman.

The above Bible quote was spoken by St.Paul, so it would be good if we can follow his example and be content just where we are. I know that we all have problems and hope for better things to come sometimes. However that may take a while for our circumstances to change. But while we are waiting for things to change in our lives it is a good idea to appreciate the things we have.
We can appreciate having a roof over our heads, food, shelter, water, especially if we are blessed with a family, let us be content with having them in our lives.
Another thing that helps us to be content is if we have a Pet animal, we can be content that we are giving our Pet a good home, that can be a real blessing to our-self and of course to our beloved Pet.
When we can be content it is surprising what The Lord Jesus can do to encourage us with even more blessings that we ask for.
What about any talents that we have been given, are we using them to please God Our Father in Heaven? Even in our everyday work we can be content in doing it to the best of our ability – then we will be content at the end of the day that we have done our best in what ever circumstance we have found our-self.
This is one of my better photo’s – hope you like it.
May God – Jesus – and The Holy Spirit help you to be Content today.
