And I will ask The Father and He will give you another Councillor to be with you forever. The Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.

Isn’t that marvelous, that we can know the wonderful Holy Spirit, who will comfort us today and forever when we ask Him to.

Do you know – that to have The Holy Spirit with us we first need to invite Jesus into our life. Once we do that we automatically have The Spirit of Jesus in our heart because Jesus said that once He Himself left this earth He would send His Holy Spirit to be with us, to comfort, to guide us, to help us to pray. So there we are then. We can pray to God our Heavenly Father knowing that He will hear our prayers because we belong to Jesus Christ His Son.
Do you know – that we are never alone when we have The Holy Spirit with us, that we can talk though Him day and night to Jesus and to God our Heavenly Father. What a Blessing.
Do you know – that you can invite Jesus into your life right now if you have not already done so! Then you can be a Blessing to others maybe to pray for your family and friends knowing that God will hear your prayers.

Let’s do Something Nice Today
1 Samuel: Chapter 1 verse 18
She said, “may your servant find favour in your eyes” Then she went her way and ate something and her face was no longer downcast.

Today, let us too find favour in Our Father God’s eyes, let us think of something nice to do for Him today, then we too can celebrate with something good to eat and our face need not be downcast.
The story is about Hannah the Mother of Samuel who was praying in her heart to God in the Temple. As her lips were moving they thought she was drunk as no words were coming out of her mouth.
It is good to remember that we do not always have to pray out loud for our Father in Heaven to hear what we are praying and hoping for in our hearts.
Maybe today we can do something nice for someone, then we need not feel downcast……(that’s if we were in the first place) But what ever we do – it should be done for the Lord. It could be just a kind word for someone, or a phone call to keep in touch. If we help someone in anyway at all that would be a blessing for them. So if Jesus is your Lord and Saviour – what a lovely thing to do something nice for Him today. One Special thing to do is to pray for someone and ask that God would kindly bless them. They do not need to know that you have prayed for them. God our Father in Heaven will hear the prayers of your heart just as He did with Hannah, Samuel’s Mother as it says so in The Bible.

Love One Another
1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 verse 3
“A new command I give you: Love one another, as I have loved you, so you must love one another” If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love, I gain nothing.”

We as humans cannot possibly live to the full without love. As you read the above chapter, I pray that The Lord Jesus will guide you into greater understanding regarding the facts about love. It is one of the most beautiful and powerful chapters in the Bible. Without His love and the love of God we truly are nothing.

Well there we are – we know now that God wants us to love one another and that we really cannot live our lives on this earth without some sort of love. It is good to know that we can give love to our families and our pets. Sometimes we do not have a human being to share our life with but love goes on through us not only to our neighbours, our friends, our families but to all creatures – great and small –
So today let us try to be kind to whoever comes before us today, even if it is someone who we do not get on with very well, it is a command from God that we show them His love. Being kind I beleive is showing love, we don’t have to gush over people with hugs and kisses to ebarrass them do we?
