The Secret Place
Psalm 139 verse 15
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
***
God made us specially in that secret place,
we must be very precious to Him.
today let us ask if there is anything special
that He would like us to do for Him
instead of asking for something for ourselves.
He must be so pleased when the creatures that He has made
show respect and love for Him and His Kingdom.

So what can we do that will be special today or maybe each day that will be pleasing to Our Father in Heaven. One thing we can do is to try to be kind to those who come before use each day. That would be a good thing to do.
Do you have a Special Place that you go to sometimes to Pray or talk to The Lord Jesus. Maybe a special chair to sit in to Pray or a Special Room. Or do you choose a Special Time each day to Pray. I think any of these things will be pleasing to God.
May God Bless us as we try our best to Pray to Him in that Secret Place.
Have a Lovely Day Today.
Are we Generous?
Proverbs: Chapter 11 verse 25
A generous man will prosper;
he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
***
Thank you so much dear God that this verse is so true –
please allow me to refresh and help someone for you today. Amen.

The above is taken from the book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ here is the Link for you to see. It is a Daily Reading and can be purchased ready to start off the New Year. The book can be used each each year so will last for as long as you would like it to. (no need to throw away to purchase one each year) It would be a lovely gift also for a Christian friend……. maybe as a Christmas Gift or for yourself.
So how can we be generous to others? Well one thing is to maybe help someone today, or offer to take a friend out for the day or to treat them to a coffee for morning tea. There are lots of ways we can help someone. Even to help hang out the washing for them, take them a cooked meal or invite them to your home for a meal or afternoon tea. Not a good idea to offer money…… just help them in some way that they would appreciate your help. Perhaps take them to the shops if they are elderly or not very well or even to phone and ask how they are !….
As Christians we are to love our neighbours and these are ways that we can show the Love of The Lord Jesus. What about taking a small posy of flowers to someone living on their own. We don’t have to do something we are not comfortable with and not to do it expecting thanks. …….. So remember as we bless others we shall feel blessed by our Heavenly Father. We can pray and ask The Holy Spirit to help us choose what is best for us to do, not just today but any day that we see anyone who is in need.

Have a nice Day Today……. God Bless you.

Faithfulness’ ?
2 Timothy: Chapter 2 verse 13
If we are faithless,
He will remain faithful,
for He cannot disown himself.
*
When we belong to Jesus and our faith seems to desert us,
remember that He is still faithful to us.
He is always there.
Even today right this minute Jesus is faithful to us.
Let us pray and ask that our faith be refreshed and renewed today Amen.
*
The above is taken from the book:
‘Drink from the Cup” of Heavenly Blessings straight from God’s Word in the Holy Bible.
*
So what about faithfulness to our love ones and families?
Are we faithful and loving towards them?
What does it mean to be faithful?
I will look it up in the dictionary !
*
Here we are then:
It means amongst other things to be trustworthy, loyal, constant.
So are we faithful towards our family and friends?
Are we faithful to God our Heavenly Father?
We do need to have faith in The Lord Jesus to be faithful to our Father in Heaven.
How do you feel about that?
Have you invited Jesus into your life so you can practice being faithful day by day in your everyday living?
We do need help to remain faithful, especially to those of our family who come against us sometimes, we cannot just leave them and go our own way. We need to be faithful and stay to sort out any problems they have with us or we have with them. Our Parents and children, also our friends, are precious not only to us but to God our Heavenly Father. He loves them even more than we do. So if He can forgive them – we should make an effort to do so – that means to stay faithful to them day by day.
Sometimes it make take a big effort on our part to stay faithful but it is something special that we can do even when we do not feel like it!
Let us be faithful to our Heavenly Father who loves each one of us as if there were only one of us. However – we do know that He loves each one of us just as we are…. Praise the Lord that He does – He is faithful to us – His Love never changes He is the same today, yesterday and forever.

I pray you have a lovely day today and can remain faithful to your love one ‘s and that I can hopefully do the same with the help of The Holy Spirit in my life.
Keep Watch
Matthew: Chapter 24 verse 42
Therefore keep watch,
because you do not know
on what day your Lord will come.
***
How do we keep watch?
Well – I believe that to keep watch is to try to be ready,
to have our house in order.
That is to say – have our hearts prepared,
ready and waiting just incase it is today
– that Jesus comes.

You can use this book year after year. It has recently been republished to go on the internet – I have been using this little book daily for at least 20years and each day there is something special for us to read and to know. Praise The Lord!
Let us continue to prepare out hearts while we wait for Jesus to come back to this Earth, that means me as well. Let us get rid of all unholy things that are in there. Like jealousy, hate, gossip, bitterness, strife, lies, covetousness, the list goes on and on, lets get rid of them and Praise The Lord ! We should then be more ready if today is the day that The Lord Jesus comes for us.
None of us can live forever on this Planet Earth, let us enjoy our life while we are here – remember we have The Holy Spirit to help us to overcome whatever it is we need to overcome. We have the love of Jesus with us and we have our Heavenly Father who hears all our prayers.
So let us Rejoice for – This is the day that The Lord has made –
let us Rejoice and be glad in it.

The Right Words
The Painting is of a Billabong in North West Australia that I painted in ‘Oils’
One of the lovely places that The Lord allows us see and to visit.
We do not have to worry about any right words to say about places like this
– just to look and enjoy them is enough.
***
Ephesians Chapter 6 verses 19-20.
Pray also for me, that when ever I open my mouth,
words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,
for which I am an ambassador in chains.
Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
***
It was Paul who said the above,
however I believe it applies to all of us who walk with Jesus and want to declare the Gospel.
Sometimes we feel that we are not free to declare the gospel but we are free
and must ask that The Lord make the way for us to speak out to those souls around us
who are in darkness who do not know Jesus.
Let us pray that when we open our mouths that the right words also be given to us today.
***
The above is taken from the Book.. ‘Drink from the Cup’
So there may be a lesson in the above for us to think about how we speak to our family and friends. It makes a lot of difference when we speak kindly to each other – not just about sharing the Gospel but in our everyday lives. Our children and friends know how we feel sometimes by the way that we are speaking. If we feel sad, happy, angry etc., they can know by the tone of our voice. Also if we condemn someone for doing wrong it is not good to shout at them, let us try to tell them in a kind way so they do not feel too bad about whatever it is we are trying to get them to put right. Well at least we can but try.

Our Treasures*
Proverbs: Chapter 10 verse 2
Ill-gotten treasurers are of no value
but righteousness delivers from death.
*
That is true isn’t it? If we have something that we have received wrongly, however much we treasure it we will still have that feeling of guilt i.e. that it is an ill-gotten thing.
We really can’t take anything that we know God does not want us to have.
What a release in our spirit we feel when we give back or release those wrong Treasures.
Jesus forgives and we are back in righteousness, delivered from the feeling of death and can rejoice in our righteousness. Praise The Lord!
*
The above is taken from the Book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by. J.M.R. Larman.
So what wonderful Treasures do we have that maybe we should not have? Perhaps they could be some ungodly Books, or ungodly D.V.D’s maybe C.D’s
What about all the Treasures on our Computers? Could be Treasure’s of ungodly photo’s – hidden in a file for privacy. But God can see all things whether they be righteous or unrighteous.
Let us search our hearts and get rid of all that is not O.K.
We don’t have to ask or tell anyone about it – just do it – ask Jesus for forgiveness – feel the release in our spirit and get on with life as it should be lived in Righteousness and Truth.
It is a lovely feeling to be able to share the Love of The Lord when we are really walking in a bit more holiness.

*Love is to Share *
1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 verse 1.
……. but if I have not love,
I am only a resounding gong
or a clanging cymbal.
***
Imagine being empty and sounding like a clanging cymbal,
we do need to be filled with love,
the kind of love that only Jesus can give us.
To receive His love so that we can give it out to others
we really must want the Love of God Our Heavenly Father
and of Jesus Christ His Son to be in our hearts.
By the Holy Spirit we then can share the Love of The Lord.

Just a short message today but –
* I hope you have a lovely Day Today *
Our Soul is Precious!

Psalm: 23 verse 3
He restores my Soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
***
Thank you LORD that you restore my Soul, so that I do not long for worldly things but can walk in righteousness to the best of the ability that you give me today.
***
Taken from ‘Drink from the Cup Book’ Here is the Link for you to visit if you would like to check it out:
So what about our Soul? ….. we cannot see it….we cannot hear it…..we cannot feel it…..but it is there, it is here, it is part of our being. It is maybe our emotional part of who we are…it maybe our intellect….we may not be as clever as some people —- but —- we all have a Soul, we all have feelings. Feelings of love, sadness, joy, hopefulness plus other feelings of course. And we need to guard our Soul, it is precious, don’t let the devil have it. Let us try to walk in righteousness and truth all the days of our life on this Planet Earth. ***** I hope you have a lovely day today walking in the Love of The Lord Jesus who sent His Holy Spirit to be with us and to help us each day as we try to walk in the paths of RIGHTEOUSNESS. *
Do you Sing?
Psalm: 101 verse 1
I will sing of Your love and Justice;
To You, O LORD, I will sing praise.
***
It is lovely to sing praises to The LORD our God and to Jesus.
Have you ever asked The Holy Spirit to help you sing?
He is so lovely, I believe He loves to hear us singing.
Even quietly in our own prayer time we can ask The Holy Spirit to be with our singing.
So today maybe put some music on that you like to listen to – with one of your favourite people singing and then hopefully sing along with them while working around the house. It is amazing what singing can do for you, especially if you feel a bit down about things. Also if you are feeling happy put some happy music on.
The other thing to do sometimes is to put some Christian Songs on and sing- along with them and enjoy your day.
The Link above you may like to look at. It is a book of daily readings that can be used year after year as it is not dated just for one year. The Lord has already blessed some people with the daily readings you never know what the Word of the Lord can be for you each day.
I Pray that you have a lovely Day today.
