Let us Talk to Each Other *

Let us be glad that we can talk to others with the Love of The Lord.

3 John verse 14

I hope to see you soon and we will talk face to face.

***

John said the above while writing to his friends and I was just thinking it would be lovely to talk face to face with you. It is lovely when we as Christians can talk to each other about the love of Jesus isn’t it? As I can’t see you today to talk to I would like to say that I hope you have a lovely day. God Bless you.

Taken from the Book ‘Drink from the Cup’

As many people are self isolating due to the Covid 19 – Corona Virus…… I thought this would be a good time to think – that yes, it would be nice to talk to you face to face. However may people are now talking on their iPads re: video talks….that is marvellous to do if possible.

For many people in isolation it is not possible if they do not have access to the internet or they do not have iPads but it is still a good idea to keep in touch with love ones over the phone. That is one way that the virus cannot be spread and also to help stop the loneliness that some people feel when they are not allowed to go out and socialize or for many elderly not able to go shopping each day.

Let us remember to pray for each other and maybe think about having a phone call to a family member who we have not seen for a while just to ask if they are o.k. and coping alright at this awful Pandemic time .

I Pray that The Lord will Bless our Families.

I Pray that you keep well and free from the Covid 19 Corona Virus.

*Have a really nice Day Today.*

***

It is good to pray for Family and Friends.

This Oil Painting may remind you of a Farm somewhere, how nice to pray for the people who are farming especially here in Australia trying to recover from the Bush Fires, Drought and Floods – also lately the Cyclonic Winds and Sandstorm that was over our State of W.A.

2 Thessalonians: Chapter 1 verse 11

With this in mind,

we constantly pray for you,

that our God may count you worthy of His calling

and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose

of yours and every act prompted by your faith.

***

I pray today that you will feel worthy to be called by God and will know what He wants you to do for Him today. As you walk in your faith you will see things being fulled that you have been asking and seeking God for. Know that God sees you as worthy, because He has called you and you will know this if you have truly accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

The above is taken from the Book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R.Larman.

Bees drink from the Cup of Nectar
May we use our hands and Pray today to bless someone.

Well maybe today we can pray for whoever The Lord brings before us in the Spirit or in the Flesh. People who come into our lives each day are deserving of our prayers and also maybe our help. Each day is a New Day to start afresh to do something nice for people. Maybe it could be just a kind word to our friends and family. Especially to the children who are in our lives and those who are in great need of their parents love. We can pray that their needs be met and they are fed and watered throughout the world today……………..

If we are unable to go out we can keep in touch with others by phone, or a card or letter, maybe on the internet is quite appropriate in this day and age. Our God – our Heavenly Father has given each of us something to do, or someone to pray for: We are all different but we are one in The Lord. Jesus loves us just as we are yes – that is you and me and supplies all our needs. What more could we ask?

May God Our Heavenly Father Bless You Today and grant you all your needs. (remember not your wants but your needs)

That gives us food for thought!

*Have a Lovely Day*

Do we have Patience Today?

Here we have a Painting of the Lyons River N.W. Australia.
This is a good illustration of having patience while waiting for the River to Flow.
*

Psalm 40 verse 1

I waited patiently for The LORD;

He turned to me and heard my cry.

*

I pray LORD that I may always wait for you and that you will hear my cry,

wherever I may be at any time here on this earth.

I pray that The LORD hears your cry today

for what ever your needs may be.

Also that you may have peace in your heart today. Amen.

Taken from the Book ‘Drink from the Cup’

Yes we do need to Pray.

Well we do need to have patience even to pray sometimes,
because time gets away from us and we think we will wait until a later time.

Then we find that the day has gone and we did not find that (later time) to pray.
If only we could start the day off with a prayer how much better our day may be.
It does take patience to let go of other things we would like to be doing
and to just sit and pray for a while.
Even five or ten minutes to start with if you are not used to sitting alone and having a quiet time instead of rushing about to get things done.
After all most things will not run away they will still be there waiting for us to do.
Unless of course there is something really urgent that needs to be done then we must get on and do it.
*

I like to think of this Painting that I painted as The Dove of Peace.

*

We do need peace in our hearts most times when we find the patience to sit and pray.

The Lord God gives us patience and peace when we are going through a difficult situation.

But the thing is we do need to ask Him.

Also He will comfort us when we do cry out to Him.

Jesus taught us to pray His special Prayer ‘The Lords Prayer’

Which is best to pray if you are not sure how to pray because that

covers all that we need.

*May God Bless you today with His Love*

Choose to Love Others

Let us love others with the Love of The Lord Jesus

St. Luke: 6 verse 32

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?

Even sinners love those who love them!

*****

That’s true isn’t it!  But as Christians we are meant to love the unlovely, just as Jesus did – to help them, befriend them, most of all to show them the love of Jesus.  Even in our own families there are relatives that we feel we cannot be with for long, we have to overcome that feeling and remember God made them and we are not only to tolerate them but to love them.  It can be a bit of a problem that Scripture but remember we are to overcome and nothing is impossible with God.  So we had better ask Him for His grace to help us.  It’s amazing what happens when we ask His help.

Taken from ‘Drink from the Cup’ Book.

*****

At this particular time where most of us have to stay indoors or isolated because of the Corona Virus the above reading is worth thinking about – because lots of families will be shut in together and will miss the freedom of going out to work or play.

It may be difficult to all get along together at close quarters for the 14 days that our Government wants us to do.

But it is the best thing that we can do to help our family and friends also our work mates or colleagues.

So let us do it with a good grace remembering that it is not as bad as what Jesus had to endure for us.

I Pray that you all keep well and happy at this present time and will be able to help where needed if someone less fortunate than yourself needs help for shopping etc., if they are incapacitated or isolated with no family to help them.

May GOD BLESS YOU and keep you and your love ones safe.

Shall we Gossip Today?

This is an ‘Oil Painting’ that I painted.
Birds are Beautiful and I am quite sure that they do not know what it means to Gossip! They seem to talk to each other in their own Bird Language.
***

Here is a quote from the Holy Bible:

Proverbs: 11 v 13

A gossip betrays a confidence but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.

***

We know that only with the help of Jesus can we truly keep a secret. Please help us Lord not to gossip, curb our tongue please and let your Holy Spirit speak through even my tongue today. Amen.

Taken from the Book: ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R. Larman.

My Drawing of the Dove of Peace.

Let us be like the Dove of Peace when we talk to our friends and neighbours to give them good news and try not to gossip about our friends today. Let us show kindness to others by listening to them and allow them to feel sure that we can keep their secrets if that is what they would like us to do.

As we talk to others we should feel secure that they in turn will not go about telling people of our problems however big or small they may be. It is good to have a special friend who we can confide in, to laugh with, to cry with and be comfortable with to share our special needs with.

It is especially good if the friend who we can confide in is a Christian, then we can ask them to pray with us asking the Holy Spirit to help us to pray for any special needs that we have at time. Also knowing that between us our prayers may be confidential and hopefully effective if we are truly praying them from our heart.

So there we are – let us try our best not to Gossip today but to enjoy the company of our friends and family talking about many other interesting things, walking in the love of Jesus asking him to put a curb on our tongue to talk and walk in a Christian way.

Here is a lovely Display of Flowers for you Today.

What are Scoffers?

My Photo of some lovely Daisy Flowers with a Bee after the Nectar

Jude: Verse 18

They said to you,

“In the last times there will be scoffers

who will follow their own ungodly desires”

***

Please help me today God not to follow my own ungodly desires. May your Holy Spirit guide me into all righteousness and truth. Amen.

‘Taken from the Book ‘Drink from the Cup’

***

Well what does it mean to be a Scoffer, what does it really mean in our lives today. In the Dictionary it says “to speak about something in a scornfully derisive way”

So that means if we ridicule a person or a thing we are being a Scoffer, that does not sound like a very nice thing to do, especially about our family members. Or if we ridicule our children or old people, people with disabilities i.e. deformities, deafness, failing eye sight, poor academic schooling.

As a Christian we can be free from being a Scoffer if we choose to not be one, therefore we need not follow our ungodly desires. It is difficult I know not to follow an unholy desire but we do need to think about these things. We need to realize that in Christ Jesus we have been set free if we choose to be.

So here is a Poem that I wrote because it is lovely to feel set free from awful worldly desires – even if it is only now and then that we can Pray this Poem as a Prayer to thank The Lord Jesus that He did come to set us FREE. !!!

Let us feel FREE and soar like the Eagle into the Heavenly Realms in our Prayer time with The Lord.

I am Free

I am free, Praise The Lord I am Free.

How am I free, free to Laugh.

Free to Sing, free to Walk

Free to run, free to Pray,

Free to talk, free to eat

Free to drink, free to play

I am free, free – Free.

Yes Free to feel the Breeze on my face.

Free to feel the Sand on the Beach,

Free to Swim in the Ocean,

Free to appreciate the Sky

The Beautiful Sunsets.

Free to watch the Lightening in the Thunderstorms,

Free to hear the Thunder.

Yes I am Free to walk with Jesus – with God my Father in Heaven

Free to appreciate the Holy Spirit in my life

Free to receive all my Blessings

From our Heavenly Father.

Yes I am Free because

Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. Amen.

It is Lovely to be Content

Lovely Flowers can make you feel content

1 Timothy: Chapter 6 verse 6

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

***

To be content is something wonderful, we are to be content in all circumstances but most times we are definitely not! What do you think is the reason why we are not content? Could it be that we are not walking in godliness? I think that may be a lot to do with it. whatever is going on in your life today try to be content with what you have, try not to yearn for things that cannot be. Let us praise The Lord for what we already have.

Taken from the book ‘Drink from the Cup’ by J.M.R.Larman.

A Snow Flake Pattern

We are all individuals, all different as people, just as snowflakes are different but are still snowflakes. God made everyone according to a pattern. So we are made, according to a pattern. We are made in the image of God.

Well there we are then, we need to be content with being who we are especially knowing that God has made us to be who we are. So let us try to be content today in the knowledge that Jesus loves us and has sent His Holy Spirit to help and enable us to try to be content while we live on this Earth. Let us appreciate our Families and Friends, our Workmates, our Pets. Let us be content just where we are and then we can feel the peace of The Lord in our daily lives.

HAVE A LOVELY DAY * GOD BLESS YOU *

Walk in Love

What a beautiful Wild Looking Sunset

2 John: Chapter 1 verse 6

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love.

***

Yes you are a God of Love and to love you means just what the above verse says – that we walk in obedience to your ways. We can only do that when we have invited Jesus into our lives and we live in your Kingdom on this earth. Praise you Heavenly Father that you enable us to walk in obedience today.

We can walk in love with our family. What better love than to walk in Gods ways with our Love ones, today and always.

It may seem odd to think that to walk in Love with the Lord is to walk in Obedience to Him. The only way really that we can do that is to read our Holy Bible to see how! It is good to read part of the Bible each day – part of the New Testament of course but not to neglect reading part of the old Testament. Just a small bit each day is better than not at all. You could of course read one of the Psalms sometimes for something different to read. It is always special to find a quiet time during the day to sit and read even a few verses of a Psalm.

I hope you have a lovely day trying to walk in Love with your family and friends so that you know that you are walking in Obedience with God – because that shows that you Love Him our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and The Holy Spirit. (The Holy Spirit will help us to be obedient if we ask Him to)

Good Health

Here is some Good News for Today.

John: Chapter 9 verses 1 – 3

And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man which was blind from his birth. His disciples asked Him, saying Master, who did sin, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

If we think about this, surely we can praise God for the things that He allows to go wrong in our bodies so that we can come to know Jesus through the healing He has received for us on the cross and be glad that Jesus is our healer. We need to come to know God our Father more and more each day, He wants us to give him praise and thanks for healing us to know that He is God and He is in control of our lives, that he loves us and wants us to be made whole. We do need to pray and ask, then to receive our healing and thank Him for it.

Well we know that we can’t talk to God on the mobile or landline phone but we do have a Hot Line to God and that is the Prayer Line. We can  use this Prayer Line day and night. i.e. Twenty Four hours a day as God our Heavenly Father is always available when we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. If you have any sort of problem or aches and pains please remember to use the Prayer Line right where you are, you do not have to sit in Church to specially Pray you can sit in your own lounge room or outside or wherever you may be – on the bus, in the train, on the plane – in the town or the country side. Remember it is not compulsory to kneel and pray as that is not always convenient, also to pray out loud or in your heart is O.K. as our Father in Heaven will still hear your prayers if they are relevant.

Are we Obedient?

The Angel of The LORD.

Matthew: Chapter 1 verse 18.

This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph but before they came together, she was found to be with child through The Holy spirit.

***

Mary must have been a beautiful young woman spiritually to be so obedient to God saying yes to what He asked of her. How many of us can truly say that we are obedient to submit ourselves to the ways of The LORD? Dear LORD God I pray today that I may be more obedient to your voice and not to my own wants. In being obedient to you I know that you will be blessing me even more than I can ever imagine. Thank you for Mary the Mother of my Saviour – Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

I Pray that God will Bless us Today as we try to be more Obedient to Him – Our Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ His Son and to the Holy Spirit.

I hope you have a lovely Day today.

Christmas is a Special Time of the Year so we can Celebrate the Birth of Jesus.
